Strange Object in Sky?

This is a photo that I took in the front yard of my home in Canberra, Australia on the 26th October 2005 at 10am in the morning using a 2 megapixel Olympus digital camera. We live near an airport so we have a lot of aircraft flying about but when I look at the photo it doesn't really look like a plane? Also I don't remember hearing any aircraft noise.
*After asking if there could've been any other types of aircraft's in the area, the reply was:
Hi, no we don't get any balloons or blimps in the area. We get the occasional helicopter but they are green. The camera didn't have anything like dirt or dust on the lens because no other photos have that image. The guys and my boss at work had a look but they just think its a plane but I don't think so as it just doesn't look right.
I work in a building right near the runway of the Canberra airport and I see planes in the sky all day. They don't look anything like the photo and the planes here that come and go are all white and red being Qantas or Virgin airlines or grey and white Australian airforce, nothing like the colours in the photo.
I don't know what else I can tell you but thanks for checking it for me.
Also one of the guys I work with argued that it was a football or a Frisbee but I can tell you that the photo was taken during the week before I went to work and the kids in the street would have been at school plus behind my house is a vast pine forest anyway.
