Well it has happened 2 times to me here is the 1st one.
Well me and my best friend at the time were having a sleep over
at her house when we decided to try the legend of Mary worth. So we
shut all the light off in the house and went into the bathroom and
locked the door. We started chanting bloody marys name over and over
only 3 times when out of know were her face appeared. It was worse
then I was told. She had no eyes, They had black holes were her
eyes had once been. The blood was poring from her eyes
holes, mouth, and where her nose has once been, She had scares all over her face and long black hair. Her hands were reaching out for us like she wanted to choke us. She had long finger nails they were red and covered in blood, We started screaming and pulled open the bathroom door, We started running for the front door when the drop ceiling started to fell, We were covered with dirt from the ceiling tiles but we kept running we made it outside and down the block before we stop we thought to ourselves we must be crazy did that really happen, About an hour later we decided to go back to the house, We slowly walked to the front door and reach out for the door knob when it open my friends brother was standing there. We went in and it looked like nothing had happen at all, Everything was back to normal Except for me and my friend still covered with dirt from the ceiling we told her brother what had happened he had laughed not believing a word of what we told him, We still talk about what had happened and what we saw to this day.
this is the 2 time I tried it
I was at a friends house late one night. We had a bad storm
coming are way and the power had gone out. They decided it was a
perfect time to try the legend of bloody mary even though I was
totally against it. We all went into the bathroom and closed the door open the blind to let the moon light in and they started chanting bloody mary 3 times when a figure appeared behind us in the shower. the shower curtain was closed, But then her face appeared but this time it was from the top of the head to the bottom of her with no feet she was like floating in the mirror we still seen the figure behind us in the shower and turned to look but there was nothing there, we turned back and looked in the mirror and the figure of bloody mary was closer there were some differences she still had blood every where no eyes, no nose, and no skin, the scratches were engraved into her skull and blood was poring from all her openings, she had bugs like maggots coming from her mouth and a opening from her chest with maggots crawling from it, her hands were reaching out like she wanted to catch us, Long bloody nails, suddenly she screamed and the blind dropped shut and the shower curtain flow open and the water in the shower turned on we were screaming and tired to open the door it was locked we were banging on the door for my friends mother to open it when she did we ran out suddenly the lights came on we kept running right out the front door on are way out the in-closed porch we smelled something we called her mother to come and see what the smell was we found out later the gas meter was leaking natural gas, We had the fire department and gas company come down to fix it because the way the light kept flickering on and off any of throws sparks could of started a fire. We still talk about that one when we see each other never knowing for sure if bloody mary had anything to do with what happen that night.
Because of my experiences I know longer sleep in a dark room
with a mirror unless the mirror is covered or a light or TV is on
because when I walk by a mirror in the dark I can still see bloody

You may think bloody mary is fake, and its just a legend. But it is
real. Now u may not believe me, and I know u won't, but just read my
story and try to believe.
It all started when my parents went out to get something from the
store. Now I was 10 at this time and now I'm 12. well anyway, they
went out and I was on the computer on this very web site. I was reading all the stories when I figured it would be fun, but trust me it isn't. so any ways I went to the bathroom mirror and chanted bloody mary like the legend tells. so all of a sudden there was this lady in the mirror by the time I got to 13. I tried to open the door but it was locked. And I never locked it! I was so scared I thought I could, you know break the mirror, but it was as hard as a rock! so I tried to swing open the mirror because you know there was a cabinet behind it. so it wouldn't budge. so I tried to climb inside of the tub. so I was in the tub with the shower door closed and get this, the door swung open. And remember the lights are off people, and they wouldn't turn on. I was in the bathroom for about 20 minutes until my parents came home, and by that time I was frozen looking at the mirror. So all of a sudden my mom opened the door and asked me what was wrong, and all I could say was " bl.. blo.. bloody mary!" and my mom dragged me out of the bathroom and I started to cry. Ever since then I always had my mom go and get my toothbrush and everything so I could do it in the kitchen sink. Because trust me, I didn't go in there for a while, except to go to the bathroom. But my mom always said it was my imagination, but trust me it wasn't. Now if u believe it or not is up to u but this

My boy friend & i where at a mates party & a group of my friends
wonted to do the Bloody Mary chant. So we all sat around my best
friends mums bathroom mirror which was the biggest in the house, that went from the roof to the ground. My boy friend didn't wont 2 do it so he sat outside the bathroom. We started chanting "Bloody Mary I killed your baby" 3 times at the 3rd time my best friend was
screaming & scratching her body from the tummy & up everyone was
trying to stop her. I looked back at the mirror & i saw two bloody
hands come out of the mirror. I started to scream & scratch at what i thought the hand where but before i did anymore my boy friend came in & picked me up & caried me out. I fell asleep in his arms when he
picked me up & when i woke my arms had scratch marks all the way up.
My other friends said that i was attacking myself the same way my
best friend was doing. For 2 weeks i never went close to a mirror & i made sure i had something of my boy friend so i knew he was close by & noting would happen to me.

This had happened to me:
When I was 10, I had a sleep over with some friends and they were
like. "Hey! Let's do Bloody Mary!" I have never heard of that (FOR MY OWN REASON) so I said ok. We went to the bathroom and turned off all lights, they told me what to do. We all spun and cried "Bloody Mary" about 10 times. We started to see her face. She was looking straight at me and I was scared! I ran out and staid out. Half her body had appeared when we got to 10. Imagine what would of happened if we had gone to 13! I never forgot that night!

My friend Jessica and I were having a sleep-over. We just got back
from dinner with our boring parents, so we wanted to do something
fun. We were at my house. Our house has 6 bathrooms, each with
mirrors. We were in my kitchen discussing what we should do. When, I
accidentally knocked over a lit candle with my elbow. Since the
counter was granite the fire stayed put. I pored water on it.
Jessica suddenly said Bloody Mary. I wondered why and asked her.
She said that the candles and the fires reminded her of Bloody Mary.
She said that about two years ago, with her cousin, they had a scary
experience with Bloody Mary. She told me the story. They saw blood
and a scary face in the mirror. She also described the fire in the
background of the mirror and the candle she was holding at the time.
They all sounded a lot alike. So, we decided to try it! Which, I
regret with all of my life. First, we decided to use the bathroom
next to my laundry room because it was the closest. It was about
7:00PM so it was still a little light out. We closed the curtain. I
closed the toilet lid so I could stand on it and look in the mirror.
Jessica stood right behind me. My face was about 12 inches away from
the mirror. We chanted out Bloody Mary 3 times. Nothing happened,
so we did it again. This time, we said it 13 times. This time, a
darkened face appeared in the mirror. Jessica could barely see it so
she leaned in further over my shoulder. The face brightened and her
face outlines came more clear. She had long black hair and blood
dripping down her face. She kind of reminded me of the Mona Lisa.
Besides, the Mona Lisa doesn't have blood on her face. This woman was scarier. She also had a few scars on the left side of her face. She also had a tattoo of a baby about 2 inches away from her left ear. The baby was upside down and had X's as eyes. Almost like she drew it herself. I finally realized what was going on and started screaming.
That's when the most terrible thing ever happened in my life. The
woman in the mirror grabbed Jessica's shirt and pulled her in. The
lights flashed a few times. When the lights stopped flashing, they
stayed off. The mirror was bright yellow. I opened the bathroom
door and ran into the kitchen. I started crying. My parents went to
a bar with their friends so I was now alone. I saw the candle on the
table and ran into my room. I was soo afraid and sad. I was afraid
that Bloody Mary would get me too. And I was sad because Jessica was
gone. She was one of my only friends. My face started to itch
because of the dried tears on it. Forgetting about the mirrors, I
walked into my bathroom to clean of my face. In the mirror, was my
friend. But instead of her usual short blonde hair, she had long
black hair like Bloody Mary's. She also had scars on the RIGHT (not
left) side of her face. She smiled at me and said,"Lys, its cool in
here. Blood is everywhere! Bloody Mary has taught me many things well now. She wants me to invite you in." Then I replied,"No way! Get away from me! Jessica, COME BACK!! Bloody Mary is evil! Come out!" I was so scared now. I hit my fist on the mirror and tried to pull Jessica out. I just hit solid glass. Jessica snickered and suddenly disappeared. I figured that she was probably going to another mirror. I ran into my parents room. Their bathroom door was shut but a red glow was coming out from underneath. I slowly walked
towards the door. I turned the handle. Bloody Mary and Jessica were
having a fight in the middle of my parents bathroom. The bathtub was
full of blood and it was leaking out onto the floor. Jessica was
holding a dead, limp baby. She was crying. And Bloody Mary was
screaming and crying. Bloody Mary then cried out,"Jesssicca, youuu
killledd myy baby..." She dragged on each word and fell crumpled on
the floor. Blood from the bathtub ran around her. She then was sunk
back into the mirror. Jessica stayed put. But, she was trembling very hard. The baby soon disappeared from her arms. I ran over to her and hugged her. I was so glad that she was back. She fainted in my arms. I broke the mirror and dragged her to my room. I laid her on my bed while she yelled out random phrases and words. Like,"NO!
STOP!" "Dogged" "Not the Circus" and etc.... She then fell asleep on
my bed. She started snoring. I put a blanket on her so she kept
warm. I went around the house breaking all of the mirrors. In the
morning, she was all fine. Our parents, of course, didn't believe us. They made us go to counseling for a few months. It is now 21 years later. I lost touch with Jessica, but I am sure that she still tells this story. I hope I find her sometime soon.

One night, our friend, Nick, threw a party and told us that one of the games he planned was to summon Bloody Mary. We thought that would be kinda fun so we agreed. We lit black candles and incense. We went into Nick's bathroom and started to chant her name. After 13
times, a hand with red and black fingernails that were dagger-shaped appeared and grabbed Nick's hand. He struggled to get away but couldn't. We all except Nick ran but Ben and I stayed in the doorway to watch cuz we're brave and we saw Nick's hand got cut off
with a butcher knife soaked and dripping in blood. Ben called 911 and when the police came, Nick was rushed to the ER but no one believed his story. To this day, Nick never uses that bathroom and never mentions the scar on his wrist where they reattached his hand.

On Halloween night , I decided to play a prank on my little sister because she is scared of her own shadow. So I played a Bloody Mary prank on her. I told her to go in the bathroom at 12:00 midnight and then say Bloody Mary 3 times. At that time I hid in the shower. When she came in, she did the 2 things. Then I jumped out of the shower and she imediatly ran out of the bathroom.
When I was changing out of my costume in the bathroom, thats were I saw the real Bloody Mary. I ran to my parents room. They were sound asleep, they didn't hear me screaming. I woke them up and then turned on the light, they said my face was covered in blood. They
quickly put me in the bathtub, but I wouldn't stop bleeding. I was rushed to the ER. I ended up staying at the ER for 7 days. When I finnaly came home and told my parents the story, they
didn't believe me.
One year later the scars appeared on my face every halloween.

I have always been infascinated about this story, and didn't even hear about it until I got them books "Scary stories to tell in the Dark" I was about 11 or 12 when I decided to actually do it...and prior to this I use to have nightmares about being sucked into a mirror. So me and my friend decided to try it one night at my house. We went into the bathroom with the lights out and the door locked. The story I heard was to chant together "Bloody Mary" 50 times or so...so we did and on the last time we saw a glow in the mirror. My friend was super freaked out crying in the corner and I was yelling turn on the light - cause if you turn on the light she is suppose to disappear...finally I turned on the light and said look it was nothing but our reflection, and turned the light off and it was just our reflection...this story is nothing but a Scary story to tell in the dark. There is no such thing as a witch/ghost/demon at all...So don't be scared by something made up to the imagination.

I was 11 at the time when I was always reading about bloody marry
with my friends and one day I went to my best friends house for a
sleep over at midnight me and my friend were thinking of bloody mary I asked if I can go first but as soon as I close the light I was
already to scared and I went out of the bathroom and my friend was
cracking up and she said I am gonna do it so she got a candle and went in the bathroom and she locked the door from inside so I couldn't open it I had a really bad filling after a couple of minutes later I heard screaming their was no one at the house I was trying to open the door so she just ran out of the bathroom with blood all over her and she was shaking and her face was badly scratched when she was telling her parents they did not believe one little thing she said. after 15 years we met up again and she still had a scar on her face.

believed it but one night when no one was home I went to the bathroom with a candle in my hand when I just turned off the light I had a vision of a lady with a horrible face and body before I even called her name and I got scared to chant her name so I just ran out of the bathroom, but after a year I thought of going into the bathroom and chant bloody mary so I did when I went to the 13th time I saw something appeared on the mirror there was no one next to me so I could hold their hand I was alone but the face and the body was the same just like what I saw in my vision the year before, bloody mary was coming closer to me it was like she was gonna scratch with her bloody hands and her claws so ran out of the bathroom screaming after 2 weeks my friend was gonna do it I told her not to do it but she didn't listen to me and she did it after she went in the bathroom aboy 2 minutes later she screamed and I tried to open the door but it was locked from the inside there was no in the house other than me and my friend so she opened the door from inside and ran out her hands were in blood and her face was scratched and she was shaking, since that day she was scared to close the light she was scared of the dark thinking that bloody mary is gonna come and get her now I am 15 but me and my friend never forget what happened.

Some say that Bloody Mary is fake, but she isn't. I invited my friend Emma over and we were deciding what to do. And she's like Gina let's do Bloody Mary. And I'm like what's that? She said it's this game that you play when you turn off the light in the bathroom and lock the door. And I'm like OK let's play. So we went downstairs in my bathroom, turned off the lights and locked the door. We both said bloody mary five times before we started to see this dark figure coming out of the mirror. I'll never forget this. She started to come out of the mirror and putting her hands out towards us like she was going to grab us. She grabbed Emma and tried to grab me. I was reaching out for Emma, but Bloody Mary sucked her into the mirror. And I was to late. I'm like o s**t and started to cry. I ran upstairs and noticed that the other bathroom door was closed and locked. only I was there. My parents weren't home yet. so I opened it and I saw bloody mary standing in the middle of the bathroom with Emma lying on the floor. and I screamed Emma!! Emma woke up and realized what was happening. it was pitch black and I ran to turn on the lights. When I turned them on, bloody mary disappeared. Emma was in shock and stated to kick and scream. I calmed her down. I will never forget that moment.

The 1st time Me & my friend had a sleepover & we watched the movie "Bloody Mary urban legend" & she said ,"do you think she's real?" & I said I don't no, do you think she's real? & she's like let's go in the bathroom & say bloody mary. so I said OK. then we said her name 3 times & the nightlight flickered really fast like 12 times then 1 min. later we heard scratching noises in the shower so we ran out of the bathroom we didn't tell her parents this time............the 2nd time we where in her room so we said her name 3 more times (it was 12:15am) & all of the sudden the TV turned on we went under the covers & we screamed 4 her parents & brother they just laughed when we told them....the last time we decided 2 say her name 2 times & we where on her bed we saw something black we screamed & ran out the door ...& ever since then we never say her name. (we also call bloody mary bm 4 short it doesn't scare us as much that way).

in about 1st or 2nd grade I was eating lunch with my closest friends and they started talking about bloody mary. I said who? they explained to me that if you say her name 3-100 times she will appear in the mirror and either scratch your eyes out or bring you into the mirror world. well I had a very strong fear in ghosts and was terrified at the story. that weekend I invited my friends to come to a sleepover at my house. at the sleepover my friends decided to try bloody mary while I stayed behind cause I was super scared. anyways, I followed them to the bathroom and stood by the door while
they said the chant. soon after they said it I heard them scream at the top of their lungs and ran screaming out. I asked them what happened and they said after saying the chant they saw a white dot and as it got closer the dot started to look like a lady in a white dress, long black hair over her face, long black fingernails, and covered in blood. they said as she got closer and closer they saw she was holding a knife. they didn't want to see what would happen next so they left. now we're all 21 and hadn't done it ever again. thanks for reading.

One night while I was having my 13th birthday me and my friends
decided we wanted to do something scary. So we went to the bathroom
and lit a candle and chanted bloody mary 100 times,then after that
the candle automatically blew out by itself,we were so freaked out we tried to open the door but it would not open what so ever, so we sat there quietly and then we heard someone say I am here in a weird
voice so we all started to scream help but no one heard us because
our parents were outside then we saw a figure in the mirror and it
reached out of the mirror and tried to grab us but then all of a
sudden the door opened up and the figure went away like it did not
like light or something and we found out that the person who opened
the door was our parents and we never did that AGAIN.

my friends and I had a sleepover. One of them went to get in the
shower in the upstairs bathroom and the water and the water quit. We
don't know how long it was but we estimate 3 min. We didn't know what happened but we do know that we were saying Baby Blue and Bloody Mary a whole lot that day. So we could only figure out that it was Bloody Mary. A couple hours later we went back upstairs and we saw Bloody Mary every where we went. And all of the doors locked we tried breaking them but they didn't even crack. and we stayed in there for a half hour frozen in fear. Then my parents came in and made fun of us but it was real.

I was at a Halloween Party with some other friends, all female, when I was 12 (I'm now 19) and we decided to freak out our hosts (Amamda)
little sister (10) and her guests for the party. We got a ketchup
bottle out of the kitchen, to use as fake blood, and went into the
bathroom with her sister protesting that she wanted to join. We had
about 10 girls, amazingly none were giggling at all, in the bathroom
and locked out her sister and her guests. We then started whispering
and arranging our selves on the floor, except the two who where going to stand up and chant while everyone else was on the floor. I was one of those standing up and our plan was to fall over the sink and counter. After smearing ketchup on ourselves, we turned off the lights counted to three and chanted "Bloody Mary" five times, and started screaming. Realize NONE of us believed in this before this occurrence. Anyway, me and the other girl standing up froze right before we were going to "fall" on the sink and counter. We were looking at the mirror and a face was appearing in the middle of it. The face was of a youngish woman with a pale face and sad and angry eyes. The part that most freaked us out was the blood that started to pour over her face and then down the mirror itself. We who were standing up fumbled for the look and then threw the door open and fled the living room making sure all the lights were on. A few seconds later the other girls came out to find us, mad because we ruined the joke, after explaining what we saw and actually finding real blood in the sink we didn't go into that bathroom the rest of the night.
To this day I can't sleep in a room with a mirror and have to have the bathroom door shut in any house I sleep in. Luckily I have a fiancee who doesn't like mirrors anyway.

The game Bloody Mary has many different ways to play you see the
way I play is all lights out, your in the bathroom and you
say 'Bloody Mary' 13 times, on the thirteenth time you say 'Bloody
Mary I killed your baby!' The you turn on the water and flick it onto the mirror then flush the toilet and then start repeating 'Bloody Mary' in a whisper getting louder and louder until when your about at a screaming voice just stop!!! Close your eyes for 3 seconds counting up outloud, and then open them and look in the mirror Bloody Mary should appear, then reach out to touch you, trying to scratch you. Then she'll disappear and when you turn on the lights, the water on the mirror should have turned a bloody red and then evaporated. Scary...and your probably wondering how I know this...well it is because it happened to me!
Well some may not believe in the story of Bloody Mary, I was one
of them. I believed that, that story was meant to scare little
kids...but not that one vengeful night that my friends and I came
home from a night of partying. We went to my house cause I had to
pick something up and then we'd be off again, but my friends had soon started an arguing about who had more guts. When I returned they were soon making a bet that I soon became involved in...My friends said we would play the game 'Bloody Mary' she said first one to run out of the bathroom or scream would be the whimp. She had this idea that I was the judge since I knew everyone's scream so I was soon participating.
We entered the bathroom and I don't know about them but I was
scared just thinking about it...we started the incantation,'Bloody
Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary...' All the lights were out and I was
in a corner, with my eyes closed not saying a word. They finally came to a stop...They had gotten to the twelfth 'Bloody Mary' and then I heard them say 'Bloody Mary, I killed your baby!" Then I heard the water turn on and she flicked it on the mirror then I heard the toilet flush, they started to say 'Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary' getting louder and louder and then they just stopped!!! When I opened my eyes I screamed I realized there was something trying to touch me! When I screamed they both screamed, I ran over to the light and turned it on, all of a sudden we heard my mom yell, 'What's going on in there???' I yelled back 'Nothing it's fine I thought I saw a spider' I turned to my friends and said 'Never again?!?' and they nodded their heads up and down! I said 'Ok act calm and rational, and go straight to my room' they had nodded once more. I turned toward the door and I opened it I started walking out when all of a sudden I trip over my shoe landing on all fours, and I started crawling to my room, my friends and I were spooked about 'Bloody Mary' but we were also laughing at the fact that I tripped on my way out of the bathroom!!! HAHAHA!

I remember "Bloody Mary". I've always been wary of messing with the
unknown and such, after hearing stories or rituals and ouija gone
wrong from my mother. One day about 12 years ago, when I was in the
third grade, a group of girls from my class wanted to play "Bloody
Mary" in the school bathroom. They asked me to join, but I staunchly
refused, citing tales of the game gone awry. They called me a chicken and left to play their game. Hurt over this, I decided to prove just who was the chicken.
I followed the girls at a distance and, after they were safely out of sight in the bathroom, I crept up with my ear to the door. Inside, I heard their voices start out softly. "Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary." They chanted in unison, and I counted along until they reached 13. Immediately, I began scratching frantically at the door. The girls inside began screaming and ran out to find me, standing there - laughing.
After scolding me for my 'childish behavior', I apologized and
offered to be IT during tag. My friends, however, wanted to try the
game again - without interruption. I sighed and told them to meet me
at the swing set, and headed off. As soon as my friends were back
inside the bathroom, I crept back to my post and listened once
more. "Bloody Mary. Bloody Mary." Their voices slowly rose, and after 13 chants, I began scratching frantically at the door once more. The girls came tumbling out of the bathroom in a rush of screams and cries. And I fell to the ground in laughter.
This time, however, my friends were really mad. After a fight with
Holly, one of the 'lead' girls, I stomped off towards the playground. Jenna, my best friend, had a eerie feeling about the whole thing and used this as an excuse to leave with me. As Jenna and I walked off, I steamed about how mean Holly was being over a dumb game and so on. We weren't more than halfway to the playground when Holly came running towards us, the rest of the girls in tow. Her face was an angry red, with fresh and dried tears staining her cheeks. She screamed at me about how it wasn't funny the first two times, why would I scratch at the door, and now the walls, a third time? And when I heard them screaming, why wouldn't I let them out? And she wasn't sure how I got the lights to flash on and off, but I scared Gina so badly that she just curled up in the corner of the stall and locked herself in, rocking back and forth.
I swore up and down that I hadn't done a thing, but Holly didn't
believe me. Even when Jenna claimed that I had been with her the
entire time, even when Chris and Camillo confirmed to the Teacher
that there was nobody outside the girl's bathroom when the group of
girls began screaming. It wasn't until the Teacher and Yard Duty had
to drag Gina out, who refused to say anything at all - just stare -
that Holly and the girls finally began to realize that messing with
things you didn't understand may not just be fun and games.
I never did play Bloody Mary myself. But I haven't been called
chicken since then.

I was about 14, and I had a sleep over a few days before where one of my friends attempted to do bloody mary in a mirror in my bedroom. It didn't work for her, but I still got curious. My mother had a friend over, and I was bored so I decided to try the "bloody mary crap". I went into the bathroom, cracked the door open so i could run if i needed to, turned the light off, and said bloody mary 5 times. I did not use any candles. I was about to say "I knew she didnt exist", but I noticed the mirror going pitch black (the light from the kitchen was gleaming on it earlier) ... then i saw a face of a young woman with blood red eyes.... I wasnt scared of her because i thought she wasnt going to hurt me because i felt as if she didnt want me hurt or something, I stood there and looked at her for a while and glared at her beauty, then i realized who i was looking at and fear got the best of me so i ran out of the door and somehow ended up on my knees in between my mom and her friend bawling my eyes out... ever since then when i look into a mirror or a dark window I see her watching me, and i had no clue why until i heard something about her having mistreated or murdered children... it just so happens i was abused by my step-father my whole life and my real father tried to kill me when i was a baby. Those people that say shes ugly must have pissed her off because when i saw her she wasnt even close to ugly.... shes beautiful...i did bloody mary 2 years ago, and i still see her image in windows and mirrors.

One night me and my friend lisa were looking up stories about bloody
mary..After reading about 6 or 7 stories we decided to try it.
Biggest mistake of our lives.
We walked into the bathroom turned off all the lights and shut the
door as we started chanting ''bloody mary come get us''.. we said
this about 7 times when out of the mirror reached two hands.. the
finger nails were long and dirty. They looked like nothing we have
ever seen before.
There was blood dripping from the tips of her nails.
And as the hands got closer a body started to appear. She was wearing a dirty white dress drenched in blood.
She pointed at us and began to say something..but we were so scared
we ran outa there.
Dont try it.. because its true.

Me and my friends courtney and keisha had a sleep over one night and
we started to say scary stories until we got to the mirror witch
(bloody Mary) so we did some research on the internet and we believe
that the reason why mary died was cause her head was chopped of by an axe it took three chops to take the head of and that is why we believe you only need to chant it three times so we all went in the bathroom and we did the chant and we all saw there was a cut mark around her neck and she had black hair and red eyes so we ran out of the bathroom and my friend had scratches across her face from that day we never did the chant again.

People who don't believe in Bloody Mary, please, This story is True!
On friday the 13th 2004, me and my sister decided that we would call for bloody mary. we snuck into the bathroom, sure than nothing would ever happen, positive that it was a hoax.
It was around midnight when all this happened, "Bloody Mary" we chanted "Bloody Mary, Bloody Mary".
Suddenly the candles we had aranged in a pentagram blew out, there was no wind that night so it was very strange, we ran to the door but it was locked and neither of us remembered locking it.
Then we heard screaming from outside the door, frantically we tried to kick down the door, but we couldnt, it was like some evil force had secured it.
My sister turned around and screamed, i followed her and turned, the basin and bath was full of hot red blood and the walls were smeared in it everywhere.
Thats when I noticed this Girl, about 17 with scars all over her face, and empty eye sockets, rising up and out of the bath tub.
As she held her hands up, we were both smashed back against the bathroom door and knocked out. That is the last I remember about that night, but the next morning and following months were a different story, Bloody Mary made our lives hell. As we awoke the next morning, thankful that we were both alive, we walked into our parents room to make sure they were OK.
We thought nothing of it as we walked into the room as they were both in their beds, so i turned and was about to walk out when my sister decided that we should check a bit more carefully and wake them up, because in her gut she knew something was not right I walked over to their beds and tapped them each lightly, but they wouldn't wake up, so I rolled them over.
When they turned over, I saw the fear that had struck both of their faces, well what was left of the faces I knew so well....Scratches, cut deep and scarring them both severely. That was 2 years ago. 3 months after our parents died we both found out we were pregnant, at the exact same time. When our babys were born, 6th of June, they were both horribly disfigured..

okay so everyone knows about bloody Mary ....
well me and my one friend Kayla we never really believed it. well we
was at one of our friends sleep over in like 7th grade. everyone said we wouldn't do it so we decided we would just to prove it wasn't even true and people just told it to scare you. so we went in the bathroom and turned the lights off and shut the door. we wrapped towels over our heads like we were told to do and we had candles lit. we held each others hands and said we don't believe in mary worth. bloody mary like 10 times. after that we heard the shower curtain start to move we kept saying it as we took the towels off. we looked in the mirror and said it a few more times. well I thought I heard some one so when we turned around and looked there was a girl like maybe 17 18 years old in a white night gown covered in blood standing there just staring at us. we both tried to take off running but the door wouldn't open so we started screaming and as soon as we got the door open she was gone. and still to this day it scares the h--- out of me thinking about it !!

Hi. My name is Aya and this is a TRUE bloody mary story.
1 year ago, when I was at my friends house (sandy) over night,...
we were playing around and having lots of fun. So we thought we
should do something out of the ordinary/something we never tried.
So we went on the Internet and read some stuff about bloody mary.
As we were looking, I said... this is kinda boring. How about we try
doing the bloody mary thing for real. So Sandy agreed. We found a
white candle and went into sandy's room. We stood in front of the
mirror holding hands. We both counted to 3 and said bloody mary come
and get us about 12 times. Then the 13th time,... a strange image
began to show up in the mirror. It looked very bloody and looked like it was oozing nonstop bubbles! I bloody face appeared and had a frown on it's face. Me and Sandy were SOOO horrified that we ran downstairs in horror! We didn't talk for a while. Then... Sandy said,... I'm NEVER doing that again!

One night it was late and I had my friend Laly over and she loved
being scared! she said, "hey, hey, sherry, lets GO DO BLOODY MARY!" I was so afraid to, but u can't say no to laly, so we did it. We went into the bathroom and said bloody mary 3 time we saw a mangled face appear in the mirror, it was so scary, she started to come from the mirror with a knife, I turned on the light and ran! than I noticed that laly wasn't behind me. I was told once that Bloody Mary wasn't a person at all. The legend
of Bloody Mary was conceived because during a conjuring a woman who
was killed named Mary showed up. Supposedly she was killed by serial
murderer rapist and it was really bloody and gory, hence Bloody
Mary. What I was told was when you conjure, you never get the good
spirits, much the same with a ouija board, you get spirits that are
angry, out for revenge or are just plain evil. So when you play
Bloddy Mary you will always end up with a spirit that was killed in
some horrific, bloody way. In my culture mirrors are believed to
capture souls at the time of death, so when a person dies we cover
the mirrors while they are at home for the wakes. I believe that is
why when you play Bloody Mary you always get her through a mirror,
you see non-Native people don't cover their mirrors, which causes
their dead to sometimes get trapped. That's why some ghostly
encounters happen in the reflection of a mirror.

hi, my name is Megan, and I'm 10 years old and I want to tell you a
story that really happened that I can not lie about!!!
Well,one night I was at my cousin Eric's house and we were just
telling ghost stories and urban legends there was nothing else to do
so we did that. Well he had a little scream mask and it had this
pump looking thing on it and it pumped fake blood well he had a bunk
bed and we put the mask on the bed and turned the light off and we
were just playing around saying bloody mary 3 times and we were
spinning around 3 times too! And then we heard a scratch on the window and we thought it was just Eric's uncle scratching in the window trying to scare us. But it wasn't it was bloody mary and we ran and turned the light on and we saw a shadow holding it's arm out and the mask fell on the floor and Eric had a scratch on his face we ran out the room and told his dad he did not believe us. I was freaked out this is true and I'm not lying really!!!!!!!!

chesey goldsmith told me not to go into the bathroom and say bloody
mary, bloody mary, bloody mary until you get up to 18 and stop but you know, I was young at the time and I didn't listen to her because I thought it was make belief until I did it. I got so scared that my

Me and my best friend made one of the worst mistake we ever made a
few months ago and now we really regret it. OK it was like the middle of July when we tried it at around 12:40 PM we went to this website and read some of the stories and decided to try one since we believed in sprits and ghosts but we didn't really believe in "Bloody Mary" so were like what can it do its just a legend so we went into the bathroom and told my dad specifically to let us out if we start screaming (because we heard the bloody mary can hold the door shut) and so we closed the door and turned off the light and I have a three part mirror so Katie stood on the far left and I stood on the far right and we held each others hand cause we were kinda nervous closed our eyes counted to three opened them and said bloody mary three times stood there for a couple seconds and saw a woman walking up in the middle of the mirror we stood there froze by fear for what seemed like an eternity watching the woman walk closer she was holding something in her hand but I couldn't tell what it was Katie turned around and started screaming trying to open the door but my dad held it shut on the other side (most likely laughing his head off) I stood there I couldn't believe what I was seeing then I snapped back to reality turned around and started screaming at the top of my lungs and pounded on the door finally my dad opened it and we ran out at top speed into the kitchen (cause it was farthest away from the bathroom) we had slight scratches on our arms and we were shaking so bad. My dad and little sister went to bed after that not believing a word we said so we were all alone so we went on the computer and played a few games and watched a video on ghosts (for some dumb reason) and learned that ghosts can talk to you through computers so we got off of there and went to a chatting website the light above us flickered and so did the computer so that really freaked us out we started taking pictures with my dads camera phone of the bathroom door (which we had barricaded) and got weird lights and orbs on it then the pic disappeared and another one appeared it had a black background and we saw faces on it there was one that looked liked Katie's another that looked like mine and four other faces then there were two women sitting side by side and a baby (these were all white so we could only see the outlines) the pic is still there and we got so scared it made a poltergeist (lucky us) so many things happened I don't know how to explain. We watched a fake bloody Mary video that kinda made us laugh but we were mostly watching it cause it had a song from our favorite band on it then we went into my room popped in the same CD and was on track number eight then it stopped so I said why did my C.D. player stop and then it changed to track number fourteen the same song they played on the bloody mary video so we turned it off and left. Finally about two weeks ago we got the guts to tell the ghost to go away and it did for about three days Katie's mom sets her alarm clock every night cause its a habit she got into so she never forgets to set it and somebody turned her alarm off and nobody else was in the room and her door has a lock on it then I stared seeing things (again) the first time was when I was getting into bed and I saw a girl staring right at me so I turned on the light and she disappeared so I thought it was my imagination cause I was still shaken up by the things that happened before then I kept seeing the same girl over and over again and me and Katie had have many negative sprits get attached to us so we think its one of them that is mad at us so they wont leave us alone and we don't know what to do its really starting to get scary again cause wherever we go lights flicker around us like at school I was standing under one of the lights and it burned out then it came back on when I moved away from it. So we don't believe in Bloody Mary but we believe there is a negative sprit following us around.

Last winter me and my friend hali were talking about ghost stories and I brought up Bloody marry. We both wanted try it,so we went into the bathroom and lit two candles. We said Bloody Marry into the mirror 3 times, nothing happened so we walked towards the door and it didn't open. So we looked back into the mirror and we saw Bloody Marry and she pooped out of the mirror and started swimming around us. She took out a knife and almost stabbed us, so we ran to the door kicked it open and Bloddy Marry gabbed me and pulled me into the mirror. When I was I the it bloody and I saw flash backs of when Mary died in the chair and, also when her husband killed her, Also when she got into the car accident. I saw her in high school and when these people stared calling here "Bloody Marry". when I got back my arms were scraped and my face was covered I blood.
