INCREDIBLE HUMANOID SIGHTING LEAVES WITNESSES SPEECHLESS
Mysterious creatures were seen by numerous witnesses in an area near the city of Coquimbo, Chile. According to their reports, they resemble small humans that float through the air without making a sound.
Francisco Vega, a laborer at the "El Pelambre" mine, was in the company of his brother and two other laborers of the Argandoña ceramics company in the Planicie de Panul sector, a location adjacent to La Herradura de Coquimbo, where he owns a plot of property whose borders required demarcation.
At a distance of some 20 meters, Francisco witnessed what appeared to be a small "monkey" that was approaching them, walking along the plain. Upon looking at it closely, he saw that it was a human-like creature, but red in color.
"It had a very bulky head, was no taller than 80 centimeters and looked like a gas bag, because it was so fat. My initial impression was that it resembled a rugby player," said the witness, according to the Chilean press.
"Only a few seconds went by and I shouted very loud son that my brother and the workers would realize what I was looking at," he added.
The surpriese among experienced by the four men was even more complex when they noticed the strange being levitate over the plain, remaining in the air for several minutes.
Later, they said the creature began heading toward the sea at low speed, finally vanishing. The event occured in July of this year.
A similar event befell a group of five youths who were spending the night at that lookout point. They saw strange entities emerge from the sea, gradually coming closer.
They were unable to make out any details at first, but later added that they were diminutive humanoids surrounded by something like an aura of light. After remaining motionless in mid-air, the beings began to disappear.
The entire group was able to see these strange entities, and all members coincided in their descriptions and the details of the visitors that emerged from the sea.

CHILE: EYEWITNESS DESCRIBES ENCOUNTER WITH STRANGE CREATURE
** Eduardo Vega told Diario La Region of the experience he underwent with his brother in the month of July**
LA SERENA -- In its Wedensday, September 1 edition, Diario La Region de Coquimbo published an interview with Eduardo Vega, one of the witnesses to the mysterious appartion of a creature with non-human characteristics in the El Panul de Coquimbo (4th Region of Chile). Part of this interview is reproduced below.
- So, what were you fellows doing in that place?
- We own property and whenever we can we visit it to do some work. In this case, along with my brother Francisco, who is the shift supervisor at the Pelambres Mine (Electrical) we had gone out to receive ad install slabs on the property.
- And then what happened?
- It was around 10:00 a.m. when my brother Francisco, who was some 20 meters away from the three of us, shouted desperately: "Come, come!" ... I got scared and we ran over. He pointed toward a spot and that's when we saw this humanoid figure, which I can't describe otherwise.
- Don Eduardo, what did that figure look like?
- It stood some 80 cm tall. Shiny, red. Its head was large but we couldn't make out any eyes or mouth. The figure looked like a small person, a child perhaps wearing a diver's outfit, with its arms close to the trunk and its legs together.
- How could you estimate its height?
- I told you, I'm a master welder...
- Where was the figure? How far away from you?
- Some 20 meters from us and some 20 meters of the ground. My brother Francisco says he saw it walking and then it took off some 20 meters [into the air].
- How much time went by?
- Like I told you, some 12 to 15 minutes. Out of that time the figure was motionless some seven minutes. It didn't move at all.
- And you just looked at it...
- Of course, we didn't even move. Some words were exchanged among the gentlemen who were with us, who were just as surprised. They noticed that some sort of sparks or lights were coming out of the head this image or person or I-don't-know-what. I would say that the they were like the sparks that come out of certain exhaust pipes when they're very hot.
- How many figures were there?
Only one. It was only ever one.
- Do you know if someone [else] could have seen it?
- No. In fact, we even thought it might be the infamous Chupacabras, because there's a henhouse nearby. But no, nothing happened.

ARGENTINA: STRANGE CREATURE IN ENTRE RIOS
A farmer from Argentina's Entre Rios province reported that "a strange animal having quasi-human characteristics" caused damage to his henhouse and had been seen prowling the farm-- located in the rural department of Colonia Elía-- on several occasions.
The complaint was made at the Colonia Elía sheriffs' office by Oscar Resteinor, who claimed having witnessed the strange creature's presence around his home for some twenty days.
According to the "El Diario" newspaper in Paraná, the alleged creature had yellowish hair of considerable length, claw-like hands and left very large footprints.
Criminalistics personnel from the Uruguay Departmental Precinct collected samples at the site from one footprint -- between human and animal -- which included hair and other elements that would lend credibility to the claim made by the rural producer.
Police elements found, upon reaching the sight, several large-size prints measuring between 6 and 10 cm long, and including a "claw-nail" stuck to a tree trunk.
Resteinor stated that relatives and neighbors stood nightly guard around the house after having ascertained that the strange creature had ripped through the henhouse roof and killed several birds. Some locals claimed having seen an allegedly "light brown animal" of considerable size fleeing from the site.
Last Saturday, around 20:30 hours, one of Resteinor's children saw the creature prowling around the henhouse again. Accompanied by a group of neighbors, the boy pursued the intruder, but the strange creature got away.

Study delves into Siassi sighting
10/13/04
COULD humble Siassi Islands in Morobe Province hold the answer to studies into prehistoric times?
Many in the scientific community would like to know the answer to this question.
Among them is Jonathan Whitcomb, an American forensic videographer, who arrived on Siassi to investigate the Ropen perhaps the only surviving pre-historic animal to be found in the world.
Mr Whitcomb has been on Umboi Island, the main island of the Siassi Islands, trying to capture on film the creature.
He joins a long line of scientists who have visited the island over the years since sightings were reported on what experts believe is a rhamphorhynchus (pronounced ram-for-ink-us), a type of animal under the family name of pterosaur found during the times when dinosaurs walked the earth.
"Ropen" is the local Kowai (Siassi) name for the creature and is also the name known for the animal among the paleolontogy and the general scientific communities.
About seven years ago, another group of experts from an American university were on the island researching the animal.
Yesterday, Mr Whitcomb and his local guide showed up at the Post Courier office in Lae to tell of his study.
He said the stories were not just myth but actual sightings of a real animal and he was there to try to capture it on film.
Mr Whitcomb said the creature had features of a giant flying fox, with a mouth like that of a crocodile and wings that span up to 7m. It has been sighted by many of the islanders, he said, and he had travelled there after hearing about it.
Locals have told of how the luminous creature comes out in the night, flies toward the coast for feeding and how it liked feeding on the dead.
The website, genesispark.org dedicated to the study of pre-historic animals also mentions the Ropen and says the descriptions fit perfectly of a pterosaur.
The website also says a Carl E. Baugh, of the Creation Evidence Museum, had conducted two Ropen expeditions to New Guinea and had observed the creature through a monocular night scope as well as snapping a strange print in the sand the next morning.
"The Ropen is one of the most likely living pterosaurs," says another website, angelfire.com as it ran an artist impression of the creature based on the Siassi reports (pictured on right).
The website BBC.co.uk says rhamphorhynchus fossils have been recovered from marine clays in southern England but the finest specimens come from a quarry in Bavaria, in southern Germany.

Dutch sailors hear of little hairy people
28oct04
A FORTNIGHT ago University of Wollongong scientist Bert Roberts was on the Indonesian island of Flores with stegodon expert Gert van den Bergh. It was in this home of the new-found human species, Homo floresiensis, that they heard a strange tale of little hairy people called Ebu Gogo.
In Indonesian, van den Bergh says, Ebu translates as "grandmother" and Gogo as "he who eats anything".
And apparently they were a problem on Flores until the Dutch settled on the island in the 19th century, Roberts says.
"A village elder told us that the Ebu Gogo ate everything raw, including vegetables, fruits, meat and, if they got the chance, even human meat," Roberts reports.
"When food was served to them they also ate the plates, made of pumpkin. [They're] the original guests from hell."
According to Roberts, the villagers claimed their ancestors endured the Ebu Gogo's habits until the short, long-haired, long-armed, pot-bellied creatures snatched a baby, taking it back to their cave. The villagers retrieved the baby by offering the Ebu Gogo bales of dry grass.
"A few days later, the villagers said they went back with a burning bale of grass, which they tossed into the cave. Out ran the Ebu Gogo, singed but not fried, and were last seen heading due west, in the direction of Liang Bua cave [where Homo floresiensis was first discovered]," according to Roberts.
Could the Ebu Gogo be a relic of Homo floresiensis? Possibly, argues a sceptical Roberts. He says local legend has it that the Ebu Gogo were capable of limited language and able to mimic Indonesian phrases verbatim.
They are supposed to have been seen climbing trees, but never carrying tools. "That's the inconsistency with the Liang Bua evidence," Roberts notes.
"Interestingly, we did find lumps of dirt with black hair in the cave this year," he says. "We're getting some DNA testing done which we hope will be instructive."

Chile: Lightning Bolt Terrifies Family, Kills Animals
A woman, two girls and three farm workers were injured as a result of the surprise electric storm that was unleashed in the region yesterday.
A family from the La Puntilla sector, in the Longaví Commune, experienced moments of terror after a lighting bolt blasted all of the electrical facilities of their dwelling. The energy then extended itself to a warehouse and pig-farming area.
The electrical storm took place at around 16:00 hours within the framework of a surprise atmospheric phenomenon that brought intense precipitation, thunder and lightining to this section of the Maule Region.
The affected family will hardly forget the terror it experienced on Thursday, when the lightning bolt caused images to three of its occupants, among them two young children. Three farmworkers harvesting raspberries were also injured at the time that the incident occurred.
Householder Luisa Orellana remarked that "it was a complete surprise. I don't know if the sensation is the same as an earthquake or tremor. It was a tremendous blast that caused the electric shock to hit the house and then go on to adjacent structures."
Orellana is shaken because the utility company responsible for restoring the service advised her that she must replace her entire electrical system, since the existing one was completely burned out. "My family was saved by sheer miracle. You can see the injuries they sustained. We're going to spend Christmas on alert."
Maria Orellana was the most affected by the lightning bolt. This 40 year-old woman was engaged in homemaking duties when she felt the blast. "The stroke of lightining was such that it burned my lips. The doctor told me that I had to rest and heal myself."
Estefanía and Yasmin Muñoz, ages 10 and 8 respectively, were also injured. The first child received injuries on her left leg while the other received an unusual burn on her back that resembles a sunburst.
"I was stepping out of the house when I felt a blow to my back. I fell down and felt pain. Then I told my mom what had happened to me," said the youngest girl.
Three farmworkers suffered minor injuries.
Most curious of all is that the lightning bolt extended throughout the entire house and later travelled to a pigpen and a warehouse. The lightning stroke was so powerful that a pig -- about to be slaughtered for the New Years festivities -- was killed immediately along with a considerable number of hens. Despite warnings to the contrary by health authorities, the pig was being butchered for consumption within hours of this reporter reaching the scene, 10 kilometers west of the Miraflores crossing on Route 5 South.
A survey of the home's interior revealed the sheer power of the lightning bolt that caused the light sockets and power outlets to explode, as well as all of the internal wiring required to provide power to bedrooms and living rooms. The phenomenon also damaged the agricultural warehouses of the "El Sauquito" farm.

Ghosts of Tsunami Dead Frighten Survivors
Thailand (RCN) - Residents of the Phi Phi islands and the Khao Lak coastal region were drawn to the beach by the laughter and songs of tourists, only to find silence and darkness.
One cab driver claimed having taken a tourist and his Thai girlfriend to the airport and later, upon looking in the rear-view mirror, realized there was no one sitting in the back seat.
The people telling such stories -- compiled by the AFP news agency -- agree that they are more frightened by the ghosts of the thousands killed by the tsunami than by the notion of a new tidal wave.
A security guard at a small shopping center in Patong quit his job after having heard a foreign woman crying for help all night.
Such tales of wandering souls have multiplied, such as the one of the foreign woman who wanders the beach at night, calling out for her missing son.
The Thai population is on the superstitious side. They believe, for instance, that large trees harbor spirits.
They also have a "spirit house" in some corner of their homes or gardens, believing tha daily offerings of food and beverage keep all paranormal manifestations at bay.
Mental health experts have explained that the appearance of this cultural factor among tsunami survivors shows the exent to which they were traumatized by the event.
"It is a sort of mass hallucination that shows the extent to which the population was traumatized as they continue sarching for the missing, after having seen so many corpses, and after talking about nothing but death," said psychologist Wallop Piyamanotham.
Added to this is the fact that untrained individuals suddenly found themselves collecting horribly mutilated bodies from the beaches, or handling decomposing cadavers in the immense makeshift morgues.
The trauma, explained Dr. Wallop, began to manifest itself more or less four days after the Decemebr 26 tragedy.
Many claim being unable to rid themselves of the stench of death, or eliminate from their minds the unbearable images they witnessed.
Like many others, Napaporn Phroyungthong, manager of a Patong bar, says that he is "very scared" after having been in the Baan Muang temple, where hundreds of corpses were placed.
"I believe in ghosts. The tsunami arrived so quickly that the foreigners didn't understand what happened to them. They still think they're on vacation and on the beach," he said.

SATANISTS VANDALIZE CHURCH IN SPAIN
by Jose Manuel Vidal
A satanic cult steals consecrated wafers from church in San Fernando de Henares to hold a "black mass"
On Wednesday morning (02.02.05) unknown assailants shattered a window and penetrated the church of Saints John and Paul in San Fernando de Henares, Alcalá Diocese, to defile the sanctuary and steal the chalice containing the sacred forms. Both the bishopric and experts consulted by M2 suspect that a satanic cult operating in Madrid and its environs needed the communion wafers for its sacrilegious black masses.
"Around three or four a.m. Wednesday, a group of unknown assailants shattered a window at the church with a metal bar and cut themselves, since they left blood stains. They entered, forced the door of the tabernacle and took the chalice and the monstrance with all of the consecrated wafers it contained. Nothing was broken, nor did they take money from the alms boxes or the lampadaries." This was the statement of the facts given by César Arzola, the parish priest, still visibly disturbed.
The priest made everything known to the police forensics unit, which is studying the case. But everything points toward a satanic cult. The chancellor-secretary of the Alcalá Bishopric, Jose Ignacio Figueroa, is adamant in this regard: "This is the customary practice of satanic groups. In fact, they weren't after money or valuable objects."
Not far from the site, at the parish of Our Lady of Zulema, Father José Antonio Fortea, one of Spain's leading exorcists, coincides with this appraisal: "When the tabernacle door in a church is found broken loose, and there's nothing else missing, then a satanic group is involved. Nor did they splatter paint or excrement on the walls. This leads one to believe that they had a very specific purpose in mind."
In his opinion, consecrated forms "can only be employed for black masses, to desecrate them in their rituals." Sacrilegious desecration is what pains Church hierarchy the most, and hurts the faithful of the parish and the entire Alcalá Diocese. "It is the holiest thing we have. These are not images. It's going after God himself. It is for this reason that persons of faith are shaken," explained the chancellor-secretary of the Alcalá Bishopric. José Ignacio Figueroa has announced that a mass of purification will be held at the diocese, to be presided by Monsignor Jesús Cátala.
César Arzola, 41, priest of the violated church, has led the parish of Saints John and Paul for seven years and is greatly saddened by the sacrilegious desecration. His parish - some 20,000 strong -- shares his sorrow. "We have prayed greatly for the conversion of the perpetrators."
This is not the first time that such an event has taken place. In the diocese of Alcalá alone, this is the third church that has been broken into with the aim of desecrating the sacred forms. But sacrilegious theft is not exclusive to Alcalá or even Spain. In fact, experts claim that the number of satanic cults and adepts is growing throughout the world. A clandestine market of sacrilege has emerged to supply its rites: the theft and sale of consecrated wafers and liturgical ornaments, with prices ranging from 80 to 500 Euros per wafer. Consecrated wafers for black masses held by former priests -- the apex of satanic ritual.
This is not science fiction or esoteric literature: Catholic demonologists have denounced the existence of this growing sacrilegious traffic. Father Fortea, the author of Demoniacum, confirms the existence of cases involving the violation of tabernacles and communion wavers, stating that the number of satanic cults is on the rise. "Youngsters are initiated at a very early age sometimes, spurred by morbidity and curiosity. At times they start out through spiritism. Later on they become involved in occultism or esotericism, and finally reach Satanism."
According to Fortea, there is no easier way to contact a satanic cult than through the Internet. Young people can download information on how to sign an pact with the devil, celebrate a black mass, make contact, have a get-together with cult members and step into the realm of Satanism and black masses.
Obtaining a wafer consecrated by the Pope is priceless, and if it comes from the Basilica of St. Peter, even though consecrated by any other cardinal, it commands the highest prices. In Spain, the most sought after are the ones consecrated by Cardinal Rouco Varela at La Almudena Cathedral, by Cardinal Amigo in Seville or by any of the bishops of the Spanish Levant. Wafers consecrated by the Archbishop of Santiago de Compostela or the Archbishop of Zaragoza in El Pilar also command a high price.
The ones stolen from a church like San Fernando are less valuable, but perform their sacrilegious function just as well. According to experts, there are at least 2000 people in Spain fully integrated into some 100 satanic cults. They proliferate along the Madrid-Barcelona-Valencia-Murcia axis. The causes of this proliferation are varied, ranging from morbidity, curiosity, sexual appetite, thirst for power or a loss of belief in the sacred. It is easy to join one, but far more difficult to leave one. In fact, the few who have severed their ties to them must go into concealment to avoid being killed. According to experts, many unexplained suicides are tied to the proliferation of these sons of Satan.

*** Found by a teacher hiking through the hills ***
STRANGE IMRPESSIONS FOUND ON CERRO PARAPENTE
A strange cylindrical impression measuring approximately 4.25 meters in diameter was found at the summit of one of the hills adjacent to the San Bernardo. This is the one known as Cerro Parapente ("Hanglider Hill") because it was customarily used by practitioners of the sport. It is also the western limit of the "Martin Miguel de Guemes" raceway.
The hill stands approximately 1200 meters high and lacks vehicular access, since the road constructed by an association of hang glider enthusiasts has fallen into disrepair.
The find was made by primary school instructor Omar Ruiz, 48, and his son Armando,13, who had ascended the hill to practice sports.
Ruiz teaches at the "De La Patria" school in the distant community of Los Toldos and spent the last day of his vacation in Salta, since he is returning to work tomorrow.
"I was startled to see those strange prints, almost a perfect circle," he said. "But I was more startled by the curious drawings," stressed the educator after making his discovery known to El Tribuno. A team of reporters was immediately sent to the site.
A reporter and a photographer ascended the hill in the company of Ruiz elder and junior, attesting to the veracity of their report: the mark was on the hard, rocky summit of the hill, which is flat and chosen for that reason as a takeoff point for hang glider pilots: a perfect circle that left three types of grooves at different depths, a continuous inscription of notches equidistant to each other and in a diagonal position, similar to the drawings on certain types of special vehicles.
But that wasn't all. At the center of the shape was a rhomboidal form with a curious formation of straight lines, pressured into the rocky surface. Some salient rocks could be seen around the circumference, showing signs of having been polished by the effect of powerful friction.
A tourist from Santiago, vacationing with a large group of relatives who were engaged in rock climing, reached the summit along with the El Tribuno team and the imprint's discoverers. They all expressed their amazement. "I don't know what could have made those marks. It's the weirdest thing I've ever seen," said businessman Marcelo Ruiz, absorbed in contemplation of the peculiar inscriptions.

ARGENTINA: MYSTERY PRINTS FOUND AT INDUSTRIAL PARK
More circles on grass wer found at a potato processing plant on Route 88. The circle is completely closed and is monitored. No explanation for this strange phenomenon has been found.
Mysterious circular marks were found yesterday on the grass in several local areas, similar to the ones found at "El Paraiso" at the 20 km marker of Route 226.
This time, one of the cases -- linked by many with UFO sightings -- took place at the Fernandez Hermanos potato processing plant, located on Rt. 88 and Hernandarias, some 6 km away from El Paraiso.
The discovery was made on Wednesday morning but was reported yesterday by company managers.
"While it did seem something strange to us we gave it little importance. When we read in the papers that something similar had happened on Rt. 226 we reported the case," explained a company employee to LA CAPITAL.
The circles at the Fernandez Hermanos plant were allegedly created between Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning, at the same time that an identical phenomenon took place on Rt. 226.
This time the marks -- around 10 in number -- appeared in a broad lot in the middle of the establishment, next to a greenhouse and a truck loading and unloading area.
The premises are fenced in and monitored, thus dismissing the possibility that a stranger could have broken in during the night.
One of the first to become aware of the situation was Hugo Giovannangelo, who performs maintenance duties at the company. "I arrived at 7 am and when I went out to the lot, I saw some very strange rings. I was accompanied by a co-worker, with whom I jested that UFOs might be involved."
According to management, no activity was carried out in that part of the premises which could account for the strange phenomenon. "We only mow the grass there. No chemical products are dumped there and trucks aren't allowed to park on it."
Giovannangelo was startled by another fact. He stated that the guard dog on the premises was "very nervous and aggressive" when he went to feed it.
Oddly enough, at El Paraiso, where a local resident claimed having seen a light in the night, something similar happened to the animals. "We couldn't sleep all night because the dogs were restless and the pigs were squealing," said one woman.
There were no witnesses on hand to explain what happened Wednesday morning in the case recorded in the potato plant. All of the personnel left Tuesday at 22:30 after having eaten a meal. Only a watchman was left on site, who claims having seen nothing at all.
Company management was trying to locate a trucker who slept aboard his vehicle during the time at which the marks were created, but could not locate him. Should the driver have been awake at the time, he would have clearly seen what caused the impression, since his vehicle was parked only meters away. "But the man loaded up, went off to Rosario and we still haven't found him."
Phylopathologist Alberto Escande of the School of Agricultural Science and the INTA took photos of the grass to analyze them at his lab in Balcarce.
Escande, who has a broad knowledge of grass illnesses, did not conceal his astonishment. He explained that the grass "shows no signs of being burned" but rather shows some kind of dust on its surface, similar to a fungus. But what has intrigued the researcher was the way in which the marks were distributed -- in the shape of rings -- and the fact that the phenomenon has affected all grasses equally. "Generally funguses affect a single species, and in this case we can see that even clovers and weeds are affected. However, no explanation can be put forth until a lab analysis has been performed," he said.

ARGENTINA: Strange Lagoon Entity Reported
Two women walking around the edge of the "Don Tomás" Lagoon in the western side of Santa Rosa, La Pampa (*) reported seeing a strange creature on March 2, 2005.
Upon being interviewed the witnesses -- described as respected, eminently credible individuals -- explained that they had seen "...an aquatic animal resembling a reptile, not an ophidian, measuring approximately a meter and a half long and of considerable size" for a matter of minutes.
This sensational event occured during early morning hours at one of the lagoon's reaches, specifically located on its northern shore, by the "Republica de los Niños" complex.
The circumstance becomes even stranger when the sector in question, of smaller size, represents only a fraction of the lagoon, more aptly described as a marshland and a bird sanctuary. The news was echoed by the local media and the witnesses requested that their identities be kept strictly confidential.
(*) Santa Rosa is famous for its UFO related events and the still-unexplained draining of a number of swimming and wading pools in the summer of 2002.

Tomb "perspires" with the death of a Pope and is now dry
The cenotaph of Pope Sylvester II in Rome's Lateran Basilica is a center of attraction for tourists and curiosity-seekers. All of them run their hands over it to ascertain if there has been a change in the level of humidity.
Much like the coagulation of the blood of San Gennaro in Naples indicates a victory for the soccer team Maradona played for, Rome's Lateran Basilica of St. John is filled with tourists and curiosity-seekers stealthily touching a tombstone at its entrance. When it exudates water, they say, a Pope is sure to die. When it merely becomes damp, it heralds the death of a bishop or cardinal.
Two elderly Italian nuns in gray habits said that the monument's power of prophecy is well documented: "It perspires when the death of a Pope is at hand," said one of them. "The stone weeps. It's true, it has happened. There are those who have seen it," added the other.
All of them notice without staring, and if someone sees them touching it, they laugh at themselves. Not very cinematographic, the tomb is neither strange nor awe-inspiring. It is a cenotaph, a funeral monument that does not contain any mortal remains. However, there is disparaging talk about the sound of rattling bones being heard in the vicinity.
Sylvester II was Gerbert d'Aurillac, the Pope who presided the year 1000, and ruled between 999 and 1003 -- a man with a background in mathematics and astronomy, whose fame was surrounded by a halo of magic. It was said that he learned the art of divination in Spain from an Arab wizard, a character reminiscent of Melchiades in Garcia Marques's 100 Years of Solitude, from whom he inherited a book of secrets. According to legend, Sylvester II made a pact with the devil and even built a golem -- a statue in which he imprisoned the devil, who would answer questions "yes" and "no" by nodding its head, like an oracle.
The truth is that he was a good Pope, according to the chronicles. He created the Polish and Hungarian churches. For some reason, three years before the ascension of Polish cardinal Karol Wojtla to the Holy See, the Polish Lady of Czestochowa was placed in the parish where St. Sylvester is venerated. All believe it was a premonition from beyond.
Sylvester died while performing Mass at the Church of the Holy Cross of Jerusalem, next to the Lateran Basilica. His body was intact during an exhumation in 1684. However, it turned to dust the moment it came into contact with the air.

ARGENTINA: A Mysterious Character Harasses Santa Fe Residents
Local residents say it jumps from house to house, is dressed in black and has red eyes. After hundreds of complaints, police is looking for it. Listen to the Sheriff's story on Radio 10.
Santa Fe is jumping. Residents of the southern area are frightened by the appearance of a strange entity they've dubbed "the rooftop madman" and who -- according to their accounts -- leaps from roof to roof engaging in acrobatics.
Witness claim it stands two meters tall, is entirely clad in black and wears a balaclava; it sports a cape and its eyes shine red according to the information received by researchers. This character is able to cross the streets by leaping from one rooftop to the next, taking acrobatic leaps that can be of up to five meters high and ten meters long.
"He looks like the cat man," say some locals. "His outline is barely visible, his figure. He never showed his face, but they say they've seen his eyes and that they have a reddish cast."
In an interview with Radio 10, Sheriff Gabriel Legstra acknowledged that "there is a widespread psychosis. In recent days we have received hundred of reports at our radio command center."
"On Tuesday I dispatched 18 units to assuage people's fears. But ultimately there is no other crime than tresspassing here. The character goes from one roof to the next, appears inside a house, has pressed his face against a window but hasn't attacked anyone."
The psychosis is growing among residents of southern Santa Fe in spite of having never been attacked. Police confirm that in recent days calls have multiplied, reporting a man leaping from one rooftop to the next "like a madman".
According to Diario La Capital, he first appeared in Barrio Centenario, only meters from the Colon Stadium, but they say he was seen closer to town, such as in El Arenal, San Lorenzo, Chalet and Santa Rosa de Lima. This is the area most affected by the 2003 floods.
In any event, despite the intense combing of the area by dozens of officers, police were unable to find the character, but advised the public to remain calm, since there are reports within the force that some local residents directly tried to shoot the entity to death.
Mystery grew when several witnesses said that "bullets won't do anything to it. Its eyes gleam red when it it mocks those who try to hunt it."
A resident of El Arenal claimed having fired 17 times against it without bullets having the least effect, while the ghost did nothing but provoke it, howl like a beast or cry like a child, making dance steps on the rooftops over which it treads like a cat.
"People are afraid of being attacked, beaten and robbed by this man. They fear he will break into their property and are defending themselves," say those in Regional Unit 1 who in turn describe the locals as "expectant and armed with knives and sticks."
Most locals describe a being that appears to have sprung froma comic book: large in stature, who not only wanders the rooftops but also crosses the streets in a single bound and can climb smooth walls up to six meters high. "It's the Devil," say the bolder or more imaginative ones.
Sheriff Legstra said that a woman told him that "the entity pointed at her with its finger and left her paralyzed."
Another local woman said that last Monday, during an intense rain, the phantom managed to jam the car doors of a vehicle with 7 passengers aboard, who were armed and ready to hunt it down in spite of police warnings.
Others decided to stand guard 24 hours by the doors to their homes, armed and vigilant. But it has not been possible to capture it up to now.
Residents of the southern section interrutped traffic, claiming greater lighting for the area, since may are afraid to leave their homes alone.

ARGENTINA: WITH THE DEVIL AT THE WINDOW..
Commotion in Barrio San Lorenzo over accounts of a ghostly entity
Residents of Santa Fe neighborhoods like Centenario and San Lorenzo are in an uproar over the insistent stories concerning the appearance of a ghoslty entity.
It is for this reason that many--at nightfall--lock themselves and bolt the door. In all fairnes, it must also be said that others pluck up their courage and go out in search of the ghost, armed with sticks, machetes and dark intentions.
This same scene has repeated itself day after day over the past two weeks, but last night's chapter was, without a doubt, the one that reached the greatest dramatic intensity.
Until yesterday, the mysterious entity only leaped from one rooftop to another and vanished as quickly as it had appeared. Last night was different: it dared invade a family home.
Around 22:00 hours, Elsa let out a scream that was heard all along Entre Rios Street and gave everyone goosebumps -- so much that even the hardend boys of the El Pasillo gang were alarmed.
Elsa, a hairstylist whose salon is located in the heart of San Lorenzo, took to the street --surrounded by nephews--to tell anyone willing to listen that while she bathed the youngest one, the ghost pressed its face against the bathroom window, showing its claws menacingly and fixing a menacing stare on her.
Everyone remained in suspense after this new story, but immediately, those who were standing guard appeared in vast numbers, wielding heavy clubs, sharp machetes, stilettos, penknives and even humble kitchen knives.
Thus armed and willing to settle the score, they went out after the apparition while various police patrols reached the site with the intention of avoiding a possible lynching or a tragic mistake among the vigilantes themselves.
That's when we heard, amidst the tumult, some frightening stories. Ruben agreed with Elsa when she said that the phantom has red eyes like fire and added that the horrifying personage dresses in black from head to toe.
Ruben also said -- while everyone around him nodded -- that the character being sought is a tall man with a long, wavy mane of ahir. Aside from that, our interviewee sworn having seen it -- together with other neighbors -- as it escaped from Elsa's house, leaping from rootop to rooftop.
"How do you explain," he replied to a question we asked, "how this guy can climb a smooth wall six meters tall? How can you explain that it can leap across the street in a single bound, like it crossed Entre Rios street tonight, unless it was the Devil himself?"
When a respectful silence had settled around Rubén -- a silence that would only be interrupted by the appearance of a police officer, who asked in turn: "How can you explain how we couldn't catch him, when we shot him three times and hit him twice?"
Believe it or bust. But the mystery, the night watch and the risk of a fatal mistake were still latent in the southern area neighborhoods when we returned to the newsroom. To tell the tuth, where and when the next chapter will be written is something we still do not know.

ARGENTINA: POLICE CHASE "THE ROOFTOP MADMAN"
The head of the URI asked local residents to remain calm. Until the moment, no one has been attacked or injured, claimed Sheriff Legstra. The official asked that his men be allowed to do their jobs.
Sheriff Gabriel Legstra of the La Capital Police Department, told the press of his department's actions due to claims made by numerous residents of Barrio Centenario and San Lorenzo -- all of them alarmed by the escapades of "The Rooftop Madman", a strange character to which ghostly characteristics have been ascribed.
How are police responding to the state of commotion visible among the neighbors?
At first we were greatly concerned over so much movement in the neighborhood, basically behind Centenario, were many people took to the streets armed with sticks, machetes, knives and even gomeras. All of this started last week, but fortunately, the area was calm last night and there were less calls about this character's apparitions. Tuesday was the peak. We had 18 police units in the area to keep the peace and above all to convince people to stay in their homes. This was the message we wanted to convey on acount of the psychosis unleashed in the area. The fact is that we do not have any record of people attacked by this personage. Neither attacked nor beaten. There were only some frightened individuals. Yes, we do have records of people claiming to have seen it and who describe it in a variety of ways, but with some similarities.
Like which, for example?
They describe it as clad in black, with red eyes. They say it can leap five meters into the air or ten meters in length. That it can cross streets in a single bound, from one rooftop to the next.
Have any police agents seen something similar?
I have no official reports that any agent has seen something similar. I was in the area yesterday and, as has occurred on the four preceding nights, I heard reports of people claiming to have seen it. On Tuesday we had three reports at once. In other words, it was being seen in three different locations at the same time. Police units were dispatched, but nothing was found.
Is there any formal report on these apparitions?
There is none. We are working on a preliminary report as from the interruption of traffic on the perimeter road made by neighbors demanding lights in the area, lights that the Municipality has already installed. Also, one involving stories of persons who claim having seen a prowler in their backyards or on the roofs of their homes.
There was talk of an exhibitionist at first...
The initial stories were many, but the statements taken from people who claimed having seen something do not yield anyting aside from a character that appears at windows or on rooftops.
What about the gunshots that shattered the windows at the Itati School, how do you explain them?
As part of the same psychosis. That an episode such as this should repeat itself is somehting we fear, which is why we are advising people not to go out, to let police do their job, to stay home. Police are in the area. In fact, the situation calmed down a lot last night. There were less people on the street, but I still ask everyone to let us do our job to avoid problems, to avoid any injuries, since there are many people armed with sticks and machetes looking for this character.
This state of collective suggestion may have a real "trigger", such as the case of La Llorona, a fantastic account that ended with the capture of a flesh and blood man. Would this be the case?
To hazard an explanation would be a groundless hypothesis. We're only working on the fact of resident phone calls who claim seeing what they're seeing. What we're trying to do is calm down the area, investigate and try to apprehend it, if there is in fact an individual behind all of this.

ARGENTINA: LOBIZON TERRORIZES WOMEN IN LA PLAYOSA
*** Entity tries to get into homes, especially those where it knows men are absent, in this small town in the Province of Cordoba ***
Since January, residents of La Playosa, a small city in Córdoba, are restless over the presence of a man who, like the legendary Lobizón, attempts to break into homes while issuing powerful howls. Several women have brought complaints to the local sheriff's office and to the fire department, but until now it has been impossible to apprehend the strange character who has the town up in arms.
"Generally speaking, it attacks dwellings in which no men are known to live, or happen to be away for various causes. It tries to break in through back yards and alleyways, knowing that only women or children happen to be present. Fortunately it has been unable to break into homes because the doors were locked," explained Ana, one of the women attacked by the Lobizón to the Cordoba newspaper La Mañana.
This woman's eyewitness account coincides with others who were able to see it through their windows. Ana adds: "It's a young person, thin and tall, wiry and very agile. It's eyes are bloodshot and is clad in black, I suppose with the intention of frightening the families of the homes it's trying to break into."
Investigators believe that the "lobizón" of La Playosa would be a deranged young man trying to break into the homes of some women he has studied previously and who, for some reason or another, have caused him to develop an interest or attraction. In any event, the town's peace has been disrupted and no one dares sleep with open windows, or to leave their doors unlocked, as used to be their custom.

ARGENTINA: THE ROOFTOP MADMAN STILL AT LARGE
***Stories of apparitions will not cease in Barrio San Lorenzo. Psychologists are working with local residents***
Residents of Barrio San Lorenzo remain frightened and agitated by the apparitions of the ghostly character dubbed "Rooftop Madman" (Loco de los Techos). Given prevailing state of nervous tension, two psychologists began working with the population through the health assistance center located in the area.
As part of the plan, periodic meetings have been held with local residents. The next one is slated for this afternoon at 18:00 hours. Interested parties have been invited -- by means of handbills -- to seek individual interviews with the mental health professionals.
Meanwhile, the ghostly characters' "visits" continue taking place according to numerous stories that are heard daily in the streets of San Lorenzo. This morning, a 60 year-old man told El Litoral that he saw the "Madman" in a hallway in his own home, while another woman from the 4000 block of Entre Rios St. claims having seen the phantom on the top of an old pine tree. "My 11 year-old son fainted," said the woman.

Mysterious amphibious creature of the Caspian
03/24/2005 19:23
Residents of a few towns on the Caspian shores in Iran and Azerbaijan say that they saw an amphibious man, he was reported to be swimming amidst huge shoals of fish. Rumor has it that the waters where he swam were turning spanking clear.
For the last two years residents of coastal areas around the southern and southwestern Caspian Sea have been reporting of some amphibious creature resembling a human being. In March this year an eyewitness account from the crew of the Baku, an Azeri trawler, was published by Iranian newspaper Zindagi: "That creature was swimming parallel course near the boat for a long time," said Gafar Gasanof, a captain of the ship.
"At the beginning we thought it was a big fish, but then we spotted hair on the head of the monster and his fins looked pretty strange... the front part of his body was equipped with arms!" said the captain. Back in Azerbaijan, nobody took his story seriously. It sounded ridiculous to those who thought that the guy must have been drinking while on board.
On the contrary, shortly after the publication of his interview, the offices of the Iranian paper got flooded with numerous letters of the readers who claimed that the story was yet another piece of evidence proving the existence of the so-called "man of the sea". The readers pointed out that many fishermen had repeatedly seen the strange creature at sea and on shore after the seabed volcanoes in the area of Babolsera had come to life in February and offshore oil production operations had intensified in the Caspian.
All the eyewitness accounts provide a similar description of the marine humanoid.
His height is 165-168 cm, he has a strong build, a protruding ctenoid stomach, his feet are pinniped and he has four webbed fingers on either of his hands. His skin is of moonlight color. The hair on his head looks black and green. His arms and legs are shorter and heavier than those of a medium-build person. Apart from his fingernails, he has nails growing on the tip of his aquiline nose that look like a dolphin"s beak. No information as to his ears. His eyes are large and orbicular. The mouth of the creature is fairly large, his upper jaw is prognathic and his lower lip flows smoothly into the neck, his chin is missing.
Iranians dubbed the creature Runan-shah or "the master of the sea and rivers." The name is partly based on stories about large shoals of fish accompanying the creature at sea. Other stories refer to the waters that would turn crystal clear and stay that way for two or three days after the creature was seen swimming in those areas. Fishermen claim that fishes that stay alive for a while in the net can feel the creature coming out of the deep blue sea. Fishes were reported producing barely heard gurgling sounds as the monster came near. He was said to answer the call of the catch by making similar throaty sounds.
Some researchers believe that there is no smoke without fire and the stories circulating in Iran can be true. Besides, last May Runan-shah was seen by Azeri fishermen living in the villages located between the cities of Astara and Lenkoran.
According to a theory, the creature is not alone, there is a family of underwater humans who are on a mission ... to tackle environmental problems of the Caspian.
The reproduction of flora and fauna in the Caspian has significantly deteriorated due to a surge in offshore oil production operations and underwater volcanic activity in the above parts of the sea. The Astrakhan fishermen has long complained about a decrease in the stock of sturgeon, the total disappearance of sprat and the like. The seafood industry figures indicate that the situation in the southern Caspian has worsened even more this year.
The Caspian Runan-shah is not the only species of underwater humans on record.
Both Herodotus and Plato believed that original human beings were amphibious and might have founded an underwater state.
Modern doctors actually agree to that theory by saying that hiccup is an atavism dating back to ancient times when humans had both lungs and gills.
A book of collected scientific articles titled "The Universe and Humankind" that was published in St. Petersburf in 1905 contains a story of "marine female" caught in the Caribbean. It also has stories about dead bodies of the amphibious humans washed ashore in the Azores in 1876. Their descriptions largely correspond with the reported description of Runan-shah.
An amphibious humanlike being was reported in Karelia in 1928. The creature was repeatedly seen in the lake of Vedlozero by local residents. A group of researchers from the Petrozavodsk university arrived to investigate the case on location. Unfortunately, the findings were classified and the members of the research party eventually perished in the Gulag.
According to latest reports in the media, Iranians have already started their research of the Caspian phenomenon. The international scientific community might as well help unravel the mystery if politics do not get in the way of science this time around.

TERRIFIED OF GHOSTS FOLLOWING ANTOFAGASTA LANDSLIDE
The alleged manifestations of specters and ghosts are giving residents of Villa Los Salares goosebumps. Nocturnal sounds, screams, cries, flying objects and even a child dressed in white have become a collective nightmare for area residents.
According to the locals, all of this is due to the fact that over half of the 100 people who lost their lives in 1991 landslide lived in that village located on the south side of Antofagasta.
Ricard, one of the locals who refused to give his surname, says that "one time I was with my family and we saw a cup that flew off the table and shattered against the window."
Luis, who also preferred to remain anonymous, told the story of the infamous child ghost.
"A few weeks ago I saw a little boy dressed in white, about four years old. He was crossing right through the gate without any effort, from the yard in front of my house to my neighbor's house. My oldest son also saw it. He told me that he felt chills and when he went to shut the window, the little boy was staring at him." The aggrieved local says that he already communicated with a priest to bless his home.

CHILE: PRIEST TO EXORCISE VILLA LOS SALARES GHOSTS
Sergio Villalobos, parish priest of San Francisco de Asis in Antofagasta, announced that he will visit several homes in Villa los Salares, where local residents claim having had such paranormal experiences as the apparition of ghosts 14 years after the landslide that buried nearly half a hundred people.
The clergyman, who has been at the head of his parish for five years, explained that he has experience in the subject and that the most important thing is to go with faith.
"When I have been asked to intercede in home where strange things occur, I go with faith and trust everything will turn out all right. If one goes with faith, everything works out in the end, because in the end it isn't me who gives the blessing, it's God. If God wishes to bring peace to a home, and if there are people of peace in that home, peace and tranquility will arrive."
The priest acknowledged that there is great awareness in Villa Los Salares of the 1991 landsilde. "Many people died there, and who knows if everything that should have been found was indeed found."
Villalobos also made reference to the ghost of a child clad in white who appears in the area, according to the neighbors. "If a landslide catches me unawares, or a similar situation, and I die in my sleep, it's logical that I should be stuck here on Earth. As popular wisdom says, when one dies with something left undone, one tends to seek it out. I believe that that's what this ghost is after, because all those who die are in need of prayers. We will never know if we are dying in peace or with debts."

CHILE: The Creature of Tagua Tagua Lagoon
(originally featured in La Tercera (Santiago de Chile) 01.13.02, p.18)
The legend of this creature is little known, even for residents of San Vicente in the country's 6th region, but this discovery returns a piece of their history to them.
The horrible creature in the etching that accompanies this article is the little-known Monster of Tagua Tagua lagoon, a legendary creature that not even the residents of San Vicente, in Chile's 6th region, have ever heard of.
The indescribably horrifying creature was relegated to oblivion for over 2 centuries until two Spanish researchers discovered the drawing among thousands of documents in the Madrid National Library. Thus, the anonymous etching made in Chile in 1784 became the poster for the exposition "Monsters and Other Imaginary Beings" that took place in the Spanish capital to great popular acclaim.
The winged, two-tailed figure with scales and a human face had a well-deserved presence among nearly 200 images, just as unreal, belonging to such artists as Goya, Durero, Ribera, Brueghel, Holbein, Picart and Kircher. Plates extracted from classics of literature and scientific texts--largely from the 15th and 18th centuries, were also on exhibit.
Under the drawing of the monster, a true bibliographic jewel, it can be read that it appeared in early 1784 at the farm of Don Próspero Elso and that "it did great damage, eating all manner of animals and drinking from the lagoon, until 100 men stealthily ambushed it with firearms and caught it alive."
The description is very detailed: "It measures three and a half rods long and its tail is bigger than its body. It legs are nearly a quarter [rod] but its claws are much larger. Its mane reaches the ground so that it entangles around its feet. The upper tail...helps it to catch its prey. The teeth are some 30 cm long and the mouth is as wide as its face. Its horns are a rod and a half long and very well-turned, and finally, it ears are are three quarters of a rod long.
Even more curious: an address -- Calle de Carretas No.8 -- is given for those interested in seeing it.
The spectacular Madrid exposition, unprecedented in Europe, featured cyclops, dwarves, giants, two headed or six-fingered creatures, hermaphrodites, lion-men, bearded or multi-breasted women. However, the organizers of this exhibit -- Javier Moscoso, a professor with the University of Murcia, and Antonio Lafuente, fellow of the Superior Center for Scientific Research -- believe that "the presence of horns is one of the definite signs of monstrosity. Our selection has been based, on the one hand, by the richness of the image and by the historical importance, on the other.
To some residents of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, the legend that gave rise to the monster was possibly a reflection of the fears, nightmares and anguish felt at the time. After all, this wasn't the first time that the existence of fantastic creatures in the area was suspected, and sometimes quite rightly. That was where the Inca Empire came to an end, and in recent decades the remains of 14 mammoths from 11,000 years ago were discovered, making the place one of the richest sites in America for modern archaeology. However, no one imagined that the most recent discovery would be an item forgotten thousands of kilometers away, in Madrid's National Library.
San Vicente residents recall that the Tagua Tagua Lagoon -- drained in the 1930s -- was notorious for its "chivines": floating islands formed by a dense and firm network of roots, so resilient that they could bear the weight of a horse. Deceived by the large size of some of these "chivines", cattle would climb onto them to graze, realizing only too late that the floating island had been taken away by the current without any hope of escape. That's how the legend emerged among natives and Spaniards about a monster that dragged cattle into the lake. Armed groups of hunters were even organized to capture it.

SPAIN: EVP PROMPTS EXHUMATION
***Exhumation requested because deceased mother's voice was heard on a cell phone**
***Deceased woman's voice allegedly requests removal of cross she was buried with**
A family has requested district judge number 6 of Grenada to issue a court order authorizing the exhumation of their mother, claiming that a "electronic voice phenomenon" (EVP) recorded on a cell phone indicates that the deceased is requesting the removal of a cross placed over her chest during burial. The judge asked them to consult with a priest.
According to the deceased woman's daughter, the woman has been contacting them from beyond the grave via cell phone. She explained that she has no idea where her mother's messages are coming from, adding that when any member of the family records anything on her cell phone, " what is played back is my mother's voice saying come, come, the cross."
Furthermore, her grandfather and uncle, buried in the same tomb as her mother, are also sending audible messages through family cell phones.
The judge, who met the family members for three minutes and managed to hear the spirit voice recordings, explained that he lacked the competence to rule on such a matter and explained that they should take their claim to either a priest or to the Higher Council on Scientific Research (CSIC).

Young Man Claims Seeing Witch
The witness is an operator for a factory in Pilar, Cordoba (Argentina). He says it wore black clothing and a hood. Beyond laughter, the subject is a matter of concern for local residents.
Witches don't exist, but there's no denying they're there. In Cordoba, an operator for a factory located on Route 13, claims having seen an appartion.
His name is Cristian Howard Godoy, an employee for Grupo Pilar, and he claims having had a run-in with a witch. "It occured some seven meters away from the bathroom. It wore black clothing and a hood. The face was aged and white and it had something like bags under its eyes. I took a quick look and got out quick," says the man.
The event took place two weeks ago. But yesterday, the entire city was mystified by an alleged new apparition. The police state that no reports were received on the matter.
Corporate management was clear: "We do not wish to have this turn into a never ending story. We want to nip it at the bud."
Beyond any laughter that the subject may cause, the fact remains that Cristian's story remains a cause for concern among local residents.

SPAIN: MAGIC RITUAL RESPONSIBLE FOR FOREST FIRE?
Specialists from Infoca who inspected the El Toril wilderness area found remains that could be related to a spiritism or voodoo ritual where a fire consumed 40 hectares of the Sierra Nevada Natural Park.
LD (EFE) A tray was found on the site containing "fruit cut in a way that is not normal and with honey underneath" and no remains of a babercue, as was initially suspected, nor of recent bonfires, according to Infoca sources.
Having consulted several sources, the specialists believe that these remains could belong to "some kind of spiritist or voodoo practice" that could have caused the fire, which began at 10:30 at the border of the Dilar (Granada) municipality and was finally brought under control five hours later, even though two officials and support groups are still hard at work in the area.
The time that the fire was started also leads to discarding the option of a poorly quenched barbecue, because "no one cooks at that time and it was in an area free of any vegetation," according to those sources.
The majority of the hectares consumed included scrub vegetation, although pine trees were also set ablaze. Three airplanes, five helicopters and 120 people participated in the firefighting operation, which was complicated by the terrain's complicated layout.
The fire prompted access to a recreational area to be interrupted as well as the evacuation of a group of children from the Nature Interpretation Classroom managed by the Ministry of the Environment at this site.

CHILE: GHOSTLY LADY FRIGHTENS DRIVERS
Over the past six months, some of the drivers of taxibus lines 7 and 8, and its combining routes -- 9, 12 and 16 -- have experienced a strange and unusual situation. Six drivers have been intimidated by a "ghostly lady" who, according to their stories, haunts the taxibus stop located at Santiago Flores 360 in Cerro Sombrero at night.
These apparitions have not been merely shades: taxibus drivers have described the "ghost" as an elderly woman, seemingly flesh and bone, which at first does not inspire any particular fear. They add that she has long hair, is dressed in normal clothes and never wears white or a veil, as is the typical description of the "Bride of Azapa" -- an urban legend that has endured for years in this city and its environs.
One of the most common versions of this legend is that a young and beautiful woman, who awaited the arrival of her future husband at a church in the valley of Azapa, became impatient and after a while went out searching for him. When she reached the highway she was hit by a vehicle and died instantly. This gave rise to the legend of the bride who has appeared to so many drivers, particularly at nightfall.
There are those, however, who claim that the legend has its origin on Friday, October 5, 1956, when young Gloria del Rosario (lovingly known as "Charito") from the city of Arica was getting ready to perform a devout pilgrimage to the Sanctuary of Livilcar. Upon returning from her pious trip, the young woman was planning to marry her fiancee in a ceremony to be held at San Marcos Cathedral.
The family rented a bus that never arrived and in order to reach the site of Las Peñas quickly, they hired another vehicle which went around a curve at excessive speed until it reach the Alto Ramirez sector along the old highway. The vehicle overturned and three passengers died, the unfortunate "Charito" being among them.
