We were together at
this cemetary and snapping pics with my digital
camera. When we looked at the pics, we saw the flesh
colored face, but certainly missed the rest. I have
always "felt" alot when I went to this cemetary and go
there frequently. Just a quick story: 2 doors down
from where I live is a place called the Jamesport
Manor Inn. This house was built in 1850 and is
Victorian in its architecture. A young sea captain
who had made his fortune by his early 30's and built
this house. He married a young Peruvian princess
shortly after and had a daughter. The daughter passed
away at the age of 9 and they continued to live out
their lives in that house. It was also said that the
marriage had failed after the death of the daughter
and he became abusive. It wasn't a very happy time.
After their deaths, the house was sold and changed
hands many times. It was a brothel, house of ill
repute, a billiard, several resturants just to name a
few. It is said that the house is haunted. Employees
have seen trays of glasses float off the bar and crash
to the floor, footsteps, women being goosed by unseen
hands etc... What does this have to do with this
cemetery? All three members of the Dimone family are
buried in there. I have been drawn to their graves on
many occasions and even felt compelled to leave a
pinwheel for the little girl.
