Red Mist?
Letter from Makayla:
Hi, I bought a throw away {35mm} camera and took some photos of friends of mine at a local bar here in Sebring, Fl on 04/06/2002. This photo is #17 of 24. All other photos turned out great and clear and normal. I can not explain this photo of my friend Rocky. He is standing in the doorway of the bar that goes into the liquor store part. There are no neon lights or anything there that could create this Red mist, as you can see thru it and see my friend, Rocky. You can see some of the lights in the store part showing in the ceiling.
There was a man and woman killed outside there on the highway. She had been in the bar and had gotten very drunk, so a trusted regular customer was going to drive her home. As they went outside to go to his car, she suddenly just took off running toward the Highway {Hwy 27} and he took off running after her. They were both hit by a truck and both killed.
Only other thing I know of what was killed there, was the owner of the bar's Python snake. He went to feed it and it attacked him, and bit him, and they killed it to get it off him. He kept it in a glass cage at the bar. They also keep a live Gator there. Don't know if that help's or not, but it is the only history I know of at the bar.
Can you explain what this photo is? Or what happened? Feel free to examine or test it or what ever you want to do. You may publish with my name, if you want to. It was developed at Walgreen's here in Sebring, in their one hour development center.
I have never seen anything like it. Please help???

Here is the picture, above, submitted to us from Makayla, and at first, we wrote back, to take away any doubt of this being, 'red hair' over the lens-or a 'red string.' No one was wearing red - and especially not Makayla {who took the picture}, and whom sent us another picture showing just what she wore that night, and her blonde hair.
After some testing of the picture, trying to bring out any abnormalities it may have that couldn't be seen at plain view. This was the end product of said testing:

Well, I don't know. It could be red string as you suggest. I enlarged it a little bit and played with the hues. I can see a human shape from the neck down to the feet, obese or bloated from death, possibly female, see arrows in redmist 3. Also the strands off that have classic vortex shape."

The bar dates back to the 1950's, and it's claimed that many patrons have died there of heart attacks. In the pictures above, that exact doorway is where the previous owner- WOMAN -died of a heart attack.
