Tonkawa Indians believed ghost fires flickered at the top, and they heard weird creaking and groaning, which geologists now say resulted from the rock's heating by day and contracting in the cool night. A conquistador captured by the Tonkawa described how he escaped by losing himself in the rock area, giving rise to an Indian legend of a "pale man swallowed by a rock and reborn as one of their own." The Indians believed he wove enchantments on the area, but he explained that the rock wove the spells. "When I was swallowed by the rock, I joined the many spirits who enchant this place." The first well-documented explorations of this area did not begin until 1723 when the Spanish intensified their efforts to colonize Texas. During the mid-1700s, the Spaniards made several trips to the north and northwest of San Antonio, establishing a mission and presidio on the San Saba River and carrying out limited mining on Honey Creek near the Llano River.

There is a large white house off of crossings rd. that has been vacant for 20 to 30 years, but when one goes inside this house, one feels several spirits still living there. The energy from them does not feel evil, but the spirits make those who were not invited there to feel a foreboding, and has raised goose bumps and hairs to stand on end. there is a strong energy within the basement, kitchen as well as outside the house, in the backyard, and the front walk way leading to the front of the house. Those who have gone inside say they felt the energy of a small boy and a woman along with several men. There is also a great sadness felt within this house. A friend of mine went to this house and he said he was told " inside of his head" he heard 2 men spirits say to him, to leave this house and never return. Now my friend does not scare easily but to this very day refuses to go back there. To find this house, take Willow Creek Rd. to Crossings Rd. { directly across the street from circle k } the newly paved road ends and then a dirt road, take a sharp left and you will see this large house up the small hill on the left hand side of the dirt road. I highly suggest that you don't go there alone.

Out here in the Bitteroot, in a little country home about a hundred years ago a father and two of his children died in this house and still haunt it today.
Every night you can here stairs creeking along with bells ringing on the doors
and an old fireplace which the doors to it often open and close.

Well it's not in my house but it's my friends area up the road. She always sees a little boy what is the double of our friends mixed together. He wears a blue fleece jacket and black jeans and I think my friends mom has even seen him so has her sister. My friend Kez has also seen him he's always somewhere around where they live. Her mom saw him at the bottom of the stairs at 2:00 in the morning and Jodie my friends sister saw him in the bathroom window when she was going to the toilet in the middle of the night. My friend has seen him in the garden at 10:30 at night when she was coming in for bed!
Who is this ghost please find out for me we are getting really scared!!! Don't think we are off our heads coz everybody else thinks that! They also have a dog called pip it keeps barking for no reason at the walls and doors and windows please help!!!

I live and work in Eye (Nr Peterborough) and most nights I can hear a "train whistle" from somewhere behind the A47, I have searched and I can't find anywhere that would make that kind of sound at that time of night...... also where I work, at Little Chef, things have fallen off the BACK of the shelves, for no reason, and narrowly missed heads of customers and staff regardless, a few of the staff (myself included) have seen a figure out of the corner of our eyes only to find nothing there, also ghostly chattering and rumblings come from out the back, upon further research I have found that an old train line used to run on the site of the A47, the foot bridge over the A47 used to be called Hodney bridge, I think, also there is an old legend that there are remains of a bridge and one train carriage in the "Knothole" which is the lake that has recently claimed the life of a young lad called Fred Holmes, a prominent boxer who, I believe, had a place in the 2004 Olympic team, it is situated in the old clay/coal pit that the train used to collect workers and goods from, these are either coincidences or real paranormal events that, I believe, warrant further investigation...... read on and decide for yourself...... N.B. two of the members of staff have been told that they have guardian angels, also on that land, before the Little Chef/Travel lodge were built, there used to be a couple of shire horses who would bolt for no reason and seemed to be constantly on the run from something that we couldn't see...

I lived in a 40 yr old house up until 4 days ago.I never saw a ghost but I sure did feel them.My son who is 4 yrs old has never been taught of the paranormal ,has seen one. The house was built and occupied by my landlords parents and herself throughout her childhood. Here parents were alcoholics and died in the house due to cirrhosis(her dad),and her mom pretty much drank herself to death. They died 2 yrs apart from each other.My friends K.C and Donny Mayer moved in 6 yrs ago when Susan (landlord) put the house up for rent due to the fact that she couldn't live there because she had experienced activity that she believed to be her mom and dad. She had a rough childhood due to there drinking.K.C immediately started to see the activity. She was in her room on the 2nd night, still unpacking when she felt the room grow cold and smelled a strong whiff of liquor, she then heard what sounded like music playing but couldn't tell where it was coming from. She passed this and all other things that occurred off because she was not afraid of what was going on. After her and Donny moved out Michala which she is still living there moved in. She was unaware of any activity that had been going on previously in the house. My son and I moved in a yr ago. My personal experiences include these: Michala and I were in the kitchen one night, the door behind her was open and I was standing in front of her, the door closed very lightly but the left side of her hair blew the opposite direction of which the door shut, she froze, had chill bumps all over her, I was freaked, she looked at me and said "Melissa something just went right through me". We couldn't move. I could feel the energy coming off her. Two days later, I was in my room reading and the air in my room became very thick, like something was very close to me that I could only feel not see. I could feel it staring me down, and it reeked of liquor, now I don't drink and I was the only one home besides my son who was asleep at the time. I had an overwhelming feeling to run, so I did.When I returned to my room in the morning, it was as if nothing had happened. Over the next few months, this feeling kept returning. I finally called K.C and asked her about it. This is when she told me of her experiences. I then called Susan (the landlord) she told me she knew her mom and dad were still there that is she had to put the house up for rent. This house could rent for 2,500$ a month ,we were only paying 900$. The last straw was when my son who is 4 came into my room one night and said to me "mommy there is someone in my room and they don't want me there, can I sleep with you"? This convinced me that what was happening was real.I decided right then and there to move. The next day we were packing and my son comes over to me and says "The people on the couch are bad, they have big ugly teeth and there breath is bad mom". I dropped what I was doing and left. I went and told my brother, he and 2 friends went and finished the move for me. Here is the funny thing, my brother gets to my new place and says to me "Damn Mel you need to air out that house, it reeks of alcohol, did you have a party or what"? He never knew that I had had that experience, he just knew I thought it was haunted and was to creeped out continue moving by myself. My son is now having nightmares and is terrified to ever return to the house on West Nancy creek, and to be honest so am I.

Well nothing haunts here that I know of BUT, I did a t.v. show called fear for mtv and they took us to or right outside of St. Francisville in Louisiana and to date I still do not know the real name of the plantation we were at and if this plantation is truly known for being haunted. We were told it is called laguerre plantation but, I have never been able to find anything to prove that this is it's real name. I am curious to see if maybe it was the myrtles plantation. If you could help me just a little by going to mtv.com. all you would have to do is click on shows choose fear and then look at the map of what they have listed as laguerre plantation and tell me if you recognize the lay out to be the myrtles plantation or another haunted plantation or if it is just a regular old plantation. I am dying to know please help. I would greatly appreciate it.

My brother in law, his wife and 3 small children live in a home there they have encountered a small boy in the house. The small boy would wake up one of the children to play, sometimes he watches from the outside through the kitchen window. Overnight guests have seen this little boy and he has touched their face. The little boy has not harmed anyone. They have lived in the home for 8 or so years. How would I go about finding out who this little boy is and if he needs something to rest? When a 12 year old little boy encountered the spirit and the spirit touched him, he now states he feels like if the little boy is buried in the back yard.

Thank you for writing!
First, you can find out who occupied the house before your family moved in. Missing children reports in the area before the date of them moving in, etc. If you wish to lay his spirit to rest and he IS buried in the back yard, a proper burial in a graveyard should do the trick- does he know exactly where in the back yard?? Also, a TRUE psychic would know where and could help you with this, some ghost hunters in your area include sensitives that help with their investigations and are for free. She/he would let him know he can move on, or that he will have a proper burial and can then be at rest.
In the last century, up until very early in this one, it was very common for kids, or any other family member, who died, to be buried on family property. Just looking for records might not help, since the little guy might have been there for a pretty long time. How is the child is dressed... if it's modern clothes or not... if not, how "old-fashioned" do they look?
If the kid is dressed in "old-fashioned" clothes, here's what you need to look for to find a grave.
Any depression in the ground that is approximately the size of a grave. It would not be too deep, but remember, most people, even up to the middle of this century, were either buried without a coffin, or in a wooden one. it will deteriorate and leave a shallow depression.
Look for trees, bushes or apparently wild flowers that seem out of place. (Often they were used to mark graves).
Look for rocks or bricks that look out of place, or stakes in the ground. In Texas, they usually marked the head and foot of a grave. Tell her to think of the height of the little boy, and look for two fairly large rocks, spaced about that far apart.
Other give-always would be a metal stake in the ground, maybe just above ground level, and rusted off to be even with the ground., or a rock that looks out of place that is similarly buried.
If they have a pet... a dog or cat, watch it closely when it goes outside, and notice places that it avoids. For some reason, pets will not go near a grave, unless it seems like it's "supposed" to be there.

My two cats start staring at the wall for no reason, then slowly back away, or run up or down the stairs and into the utility room. I just wanted to ask a question about the paranormal happenings that have followed my husband and I for 30.....When our kids all grew up and started lves of thier own, they also have the same happenings. Lately it has been leaving puddles of water in the middle of my kitchen floor. This also happens at my son's house, and my mother's. First question, is there a family member not getting water on the floor? It could mean the places affected, (or might be affected) are the ones with the puddles only. The spirit entity is connected with your family, and seems to be giving you a warning or advisory concerning water. Check your pipes, washer and/or hot water tanks and watch the weather, it is noted there are flood warnings for your area.

One night me and a couple of friends heard about a bridge in Zebulon NC and that it is suppose to be haunted, so we drove out there in my car, well I am getting ahead of myself. The legend of Glory Bridge Zebulon NC, is one that you have heard a billion times but you have to go see for your self well we did and now I believe. Okay a couple of rules you must go by if you go to Glory Bridge.
1. What ever you do if you are crazy enough to be alone on the bridge by yourself do not for any reason stop your car for anything okay you'll know why in a min okay.
2. Lock your doors
3. Roll up windows
4. DON'T TURN YOU CAR OFF!!!
Okay so now you know the rules I will tell ya the story, my friends, Chuck, Slim, Darell, Derek, and 2 girls that followed us from the hang out, there was just us and when we got to the bridge I parked my car towards the bridge and turned it off mistake 1 lol but I left the lights on so we could see we were a little drunk so we were not the most pleasant people at the time now the story goes that the bridge has the emotions of okay and anger we were standing around smoking and drinking when slim ran up to the side of the bridge and said "well I think I just might have to piss" so he started peeing off the bridge into the emotional water below and as he was doing this he was yelling out " ain't nothing out here for me nothing wants me, nothing wants a peace of me" then it got cold as hell you could see your breath and this is odd for the month of July in North Carolina, well we all got quite and listened to what sounded like something coming out of the water and running full tilt towards us through the leafs. So at this point we all huddled up together and started inching towards the cars when the head lights went out like someone hit the switch just then you could here the beeping coming from inside my car so that meant the door was open and I shut the door so that freaked me out I told them you guys I shut my door and Chuck said well what do we do then cause we need to get the @#@$ up outta here so we started walking again and when we got to the car we heard a whisper that said so softly and raspy "you might get in the car but you wont go far" after it quit talking Darrell said did you here that I said yeah and Chuck said did it say ya might get in the car but you wont go far and slim said I heard it to and the girls were already in the car but they said they heard it too so in we got and I tried to start the car but it wouldn't start so we were all scared now. The lights came back on and as they did you could see a shadow walking towards the car on the water side of the bridge so you know that no one can walk there except a ghost and as soon as I saw it Darrell said is that and then the headlights went out again and Derek yelled lock the doors I reached for the door and as soon as I locked it the lock popped right back up I was so scared at this point I was franticly trying to start the car and struggling with the door lock when finally the car started and we drove down that winding gravel road faster than I thought possible as we got back to the hang out it was getting close to early morning and the sun was just breaking so we stopped at the waffle house to eat and when we got out there were hand prints on the car doors that had rubbed right threw the dirt from the road streaked down the sides of the car. I consider us lucky for getting outta there. So if you feel lucky enough to make the old Glory Bridge mad enough and taunt it and think you will make it good luck we will see your stuff in the day but no sign of you so be careful and please for your sake follow the rules of survival on the Glory Bridge.

Unlike many of the spectors on this site the Capitol Theaters ghost is very much beloved. Shorty, as this ghost has come to be known as, is a valuable member of the theater crew. He is usually attributed to his work in the lighting and costume department. He is even credited with saving a life. Shorty is usually most active when the theater is quiet, or in-between shows. He is known to have a rather unhealthy appetite. The turning down of upfolded seats (1500 to be exact) in the theater is the work of this friendly phantom. Little is known about Shorty's true identity as he is visible only through phantom footprints. His is thought to be the ghost of a wealthy theater patron or of a stage manager/electrician.

Hi, I would like to add to your list of haunted places. I was recently a student at Appalachian State University in North Carolina. The listing that you have for East Hall is true but I also know of 2 other places within Boone NC that are haunted by sprits. If you look up a Hotel called The Green Park Inn, you will find that there is one haunted room that exists there. To be honest I'm not sure of the Number of the room or the story but this is a known fact by all ASU Students along with Green Park Inn employees. The Green Park Inn is located a few miles from Boone, NC in a town called Blowing Rock. If you like call and see if you can get information but this is a fact. Also, there is another Dorm on ASU that is haunted. While I was attending ASU a student hung himself over a breakup with a girlfriend. I remember it being a HUGE story on campus. To this day the Dorm is said to have cold spots and things being moved. I'm not sure of the dorm or the Room but I will get back to you on that. I have been out for 5 years now and have forgotten. If you like check these stories out. You will not be disappointed, they are fact.....

There is an old house that sit's in the woods right behind threechopt road..in Henrico County..accross from the new CVS store.....if u go there at night you will see and hear a little boy that's covered in snakes..the reason why he's there is cause long ago he lived there and he loved snakes so...one night his house caught on fire and he got burned in there and died, most of the snakes got out...so at night u go there you will see him looking for his snakes....he is mostly seen right next to his burned house.....

The Victorian Hotel in downtown San Francisco is haunted. The 8th floor has been over run with ghost,and poltergiests. A recent worker there has reported seeing many strange and scary ghosts lurking around the 8th floor of this hotel. This worker who will remain nameless has seen many things that would scare anyone out of their wits.Many other people have seen, felt and smelled these ghost especially some guests and people who work there. One scary experience that had happened to one of the people who work there was that: They were prepairing everything for their guests by fixing up the rooms and keeping everything nice and tidy. One of the rooms would not open the worker heard sobing and moaning coming from the other side of the door. Then saw a shadow under the door as if someone were standing on the other side. Finally the door was unlocked but no one was inside the room. Another worker reported the same thing. Another worker reported hearing stomping coming from a room but at first ignored it thinking it was nothing but a noisy child. Until later that day a couple who were on the 7th floor complained about stomping coming from the 8th floor. They asked if someone could tell them to keep it down. One of the workers went to go check it out but the room was vacant no one was inside. Many other guests complained about the stomping coming from the 8th floor but none of them knew what it was. I'ts the mysterious 8th floor where ghost and poltergiest stay and no one really knows the history of this hotel but this hotel is still haunted till this very day. I'ts located in downtown San Francisco near the Metreon.

My school rainham mark grammar school, I believe one of the girls toilets is haunted. Some people in my year did the ouijja board, didnt do it properly and left something behind. When I go in there (not on my own!) I feel coldness and a precense. The people who did the ouijja board were talking to a little girl called misty. She was spelling out "I am Misty, I am but 3, my father murdered

Me and my mate whent through an alley way at the side of the church (st. catherines church). So we where walking through the alley and we heard foot steps so we stopped looked behind and around, and we could see nothing, so we carried on walking and we heard them again with a creeking door open which shut with bricks on the floor to keep it closed. The bricks where moved. A black misty fog which you could make out as an old man with a beard and bolky eyes. The fog blew right past us and me and my mate felt a blowing in our ears. The fog came staight back past us and came back at us and it bleew into us and it felt like all these electrical orbs going through our body. The door in which it came from shut and it was normal again.

This house was built as a large Mormon house by Mr. W. Frank White and Mrs. Rhea White. Mr. White died in 1957, and Mrs. White died in 1995. Since the time of her death, Mrs. White, who ran the house with an iron hand continues to go throughout the house to make sure that people carry out her high standards. Dark shadow figures visibly roam throughout the Inn. After guests have retires, some have heard knocking on their doors, and then the doorknob turns. Several times the doors have opened. At other times, doors open and close, and items have moved. Mrs. White's Siamese cats have been known to get into beds at night to sleep with guests.

When I am in my house with or without someone weird things happen. I have been physically attacked three times. The first time it happened it was a normal evening and I was in my living room talking with my friend. I went to put my foot on top of my in table and halfway through the motion (with my friend watching) my foot
was grabed (you could see the material move like someone grabing my leg) and I was pushed across the room into a glass slidding door. (Luckily it didn't break). This happened a good 5 months ago but it doesn't end there. About 3 weeks to a month ago I was thrown down two flights of stairs on two different occasions. I had gone to my room to change because I was hot.(I had already had bad feeling about the front and upper section of my house for some time) Anyway, I went to look out the window at the top of my stairs and then went to head down the stairs. As I lifted my foot to go down the stairs I felt two smaller hands at about the middle of my back push me down the stairs. (As if that wasn't bad enought I have stairs where you go down one flight and get to a landing and then go down the second set of stairs) As I was coming to a stop on the landing I was pushed down the second set of stairs where I landed on the lenolium floor and heard a laugh. About a week after that I went upstairs at about 10:30 P.M.(Of chorse, I turned on almost all the lights in the house) to take a shower and as I came out I looked into my kids room which was located diaganally across the hall (and was also one of the few rooms where I had not turned on the light)and to my horror I saw very clearly a little girl in the room and her flesh looked as though it was decaying off her face. I have seen and felt her quite frequently in the house after that. All this scares me because I am now about 2 1/2 months pregnant and worry about the well being of my baby in this house. Down Las Palmas Circile Drive there has been many reports of two kids and their father. The stories goes that the father killed both of his son's and even after death he is still looking for them and all ghosts have been seen in a house in different rooms. Two kids were in a room and polgergeist activity happened in the kitchen, dishes were breaking and glass were breaking so they walked to their parents room to see if their parents went to the kitchen but they had the door locked so they knew there parents were in there room asleep so whale they were walking down the hall
the banging became louder and louder until they were against the kitchen wall so the older brother peeked to see who was there but no one was there and nothing was broken.

My now dead father saw a wolf walking across our lawn in the winter of 2001. At the same time the porch light went dead without any physical reason, as if the wolf wanted darkness in order to cross our property.
When I was 15, (1997) I was in the woodshed one winter evening. As I went back up towards the house, I felt a presence, and looked to the left. There was what I thought was a big dog, sitting down and looking at me with a creepy look. I puffed myself up, to look scary, and walked slowly into the house. For some reason I FORGOT(!!) all about this, I even forgot to tell my parents about the wolf in the garden. I didn't remember it again untill a night in the year 2000 I think it was, when I dreamt that a huge ugly grey "dog" was sitting on the inside of the window-ledge in my room, and wanted to kill me.
At the time I thought it might a sign that I would soon meet and have to fight an escaped convict who was on the loose in the area for several months in a row, but it didn't turn out that way after all. It seems this wolf is evil. By the way, there haven't been wolves here since the 1700's.

Here is another story, from where I presently live.
I was listening to the police-scanner one night, about a week ago, and I overheard an everyday occurrence, an old person had run away from the hospital, and was being brought home. It was about 04:00 in the night, and it was just about to get light outside again.How and why the person, who used a walking-chair, had managed to walk the 10 kilometers down town, from his hospital and to an old church, is harder to figure out.
Anyways, the police reported to the central that "2-0 this is Sierra 2-6, we have located the missing old guy, and we are bringing him home. - Over" which was followed by whistling interference on the radio, and another call from Sierra 2-6..; "...2-0..we are by the way hearing noises from the basement of the address we are at...." upon which the central replied; "..Sierra 2-6, this is 2-0... yeah we are familiare with that ghost... over..."
The address in question is well known for having existed throughout the well over one thousand years that this city has been in existence, and has ALWAYS been haunted.... ( The name of the adress is "Kongens Gate 1". which means "the Kings street number 1." )

This story may fall in the unexplained category. My friend and I stayed at a very old hotel in St-Andrews-by-the-sea, New Brunwick, CA. When getting ready for dinner, we each had our shower. This happened to both my friend and I while in the bathroom after our respective showers: In the fogged up mirror, a very strange site looked back. It was not our own face, but a part of it was covered around the eye area with specific eye changes, it was weird. We found out much later that the place is known as one of Canada's top haunted hotels...
To make it even stranger, it did not happen the next day.

Hardwick Hall Hotel around 10:30 every night there is a lady dressed in a grey long cloak u can here her crying as she walks back and forth towards the woods I first noticed her one night in 2002 when I was walking my dog at first I thought it was kidsIplaying but when my dog started going mad I saw her. A few weeks later I went back at 9:00 and was walking around the woods as it reached 10:30 I heard the crying again so I stood still to see if the image would appear but this time she was looking in the pond gently stroking the water. I have not returned since as it really scared me but a few people have also seen this too.....

As a child I was told of a white lady that roams the grounds of the old COXHOE hotel. I still believed this to be true as in 1 case back some time ago 1 evening in 2000 me and my girlfriend was out walkin on a fine summers evening with our dogs the dogs ran off towards the woods. We eventually caught up with them close bye the remains of witch I beleive was the ruiens of the hotel. Shortly after the air started getting cold and the wind picked up. Through the trees there was a image that looked almost human like of a frail old woman. The image shortly after a few seconds faded into the woodland. As I look at my girlfriend in shock and curiousity a faint sound of a cackaling laugh sound back behind us, at which time we were already making our way back to the road to the hall. We havn't heard of anyone else have a sightin round the area in which we did but we advise to keep to the lighted areas.

Multiple Line Textbox1 Clegg hall in Lancashire, England. Alot of murders have happernd there, and you are supposed to be abled to see people hanging themselfs and a headless woman walking around there, apparantly a wicked uncle used a tunnel to get to clegg hall to murder two children there. A part of Clegg hall next to the canal was burnt down, but without any trace of matches, cigarettes or petrol or anything. Ive been to clegg hall with my friend and its very ruined and the roof is missing, and it has very tiny doors, I would like to know why. And the bathroom still has a few tiles on the wall. It is a very old house and very big. After I'd visited Clegg hall loads of wierd stuff happernd at home like a strong perfume smell on my road wich got stronger as i got to my house and finished at the end of the hallway, but no one had sprayed any perfume. Things fell over on their own and the bed shook twice when I was sat on it watching tv.

Windstorms destructing 4 years in a row and an ice storm making the place look like an atom bomb hit it. Tornado of F4 hitting. People reporting seeing a young boy behind a tree several years ago or a young man sawing trees. Ghost reported working at a workbench l0 years ago at same place. Lightening striking over and over ruining trees, splitting one in half as one looks out the window. Chickens devoured for no reason, only the breast left.

Many people I know have told me stories about a place known as "devils swamp". It's a wooded area inbetween the redwood farms area and braeside crescent area. My friend kyle was walking through the woods once when he saw a girl in a blue dress walking through the woods with a knife in her hand. He said she looked at
him and kept walking. The next day we went to the library and looked through old newspapers and found out that a girl named Emily Williams (age 9), had committed suicide in those same woods in 1944. About a month ago some one in the redwood farms neighborhood reported a missing dog and later found that dog in those woods with a knife in it. People talk about seeing a girl in those woods all the time and it is an insanely scary place.

At scarborough castle sometimes in the early hours in the morning near the gates you can hear a horses hooves,the say its a rider and his horse protrolling the castle. You can't see the sprit only hear it. When my gran use to own a guest house in burniston in scarborough used to be called round hills now the new owners have called it harmony lodge. When we use to go up sometimes strange things would happen. Sometimes we could hear a banging noise and it wasnt any of us for we were all sitting in the front room. My family went to find out where it was coming from and it came from room 3 which if you walk passed it or in the actual room it is very cold. I have been told that at least 2 people have died in that room since my gran owned it, they say there is a beautiful woman who stands at the window and looks at the stars then she disapears. Then there is a man who walks down the corridoor on a night he is quite old. But we dont know if these strange things are still happening! Or what was banging on the wall that night.

I am just curious as to finding anything about the Garrison's in Vermont. The house is a two story just off of rural route 9 high up in the woods of Vermont. Earl and Julia Garrison had three children and lived there until late in 1968. The mother and children's bodies were found dead in the house and all door were locked and blood was found in almost all the rooms. The father was found hung
in a tree in a cemetary in the back yard.
That's all the information I could find and I'm looking for the whole story. People have bought the house only to leave all of a sudden because of odd and unsettling happenings. No one knows what triggered the massacre.

Ghosts man, lots of ghosts, Donna Reed's ghost in her old home. Man it's some scary whack stuff going on. Only a thug wouldn't be scared of that place. My step sister fell on a nail sticking ALL THE WAY OUT OF THE WOOD, so she was bleeding really bad and some guy came to nail it in and the nail was gone. Now that is some crazy whack stuff. And there's the Hederman Houses. Woah, now thats some crazy stuff! We found really old things in that house like bank notes and old old old books from the 1920's. And we found some old photos and old negatives that had scary looking twisted faces on them. That is some crazy stuff. And in the other house we went to we found little handprints and holes in the wall. And there is no way little little kids would go in there. We didnt even want to go in there. So im saying SPREAD THE WORD.

There is a place called the Danville Museum of fine arts(aka.The Sutherlin Mansion) it is were Jefferson Davis wrote the last proclamation of the confederacy. The man who lived there, William Sutherlin, with his wife and three daughters. There is one place called the UDC Room. When you walk in it is very cold. Things are moving constantly. If you sit in front of the parlor, you can hear footsteps coming up the stairs. You can also smell cigar smoke in the parlor, the same kind Jefferson Davis smoked. Its really weird!

And when my freind said she saw her she had a big long scratch from something. It had part of a greenish tarnished fingernail stuck in her arm. A house off of Smithfield Rd. down the street from Lockhart Elementry School is haunted by a girl named Jessica. Jessica's boyfriend was on his way to run away with Jessica in about the 1700's to go elope while on the way he had hit his head on a low branch and died instantly. Jessica went to where her boyfriend died and took the saddle off the back of his horse and took it upstairs to her room and hung herself. Every so often u can hear her dragging the saddle up the stairs and sometimes she will be standing at the window in her room looking out the window to see who's pulling into the drive way. The first time this was reported was when one of my friends lived there and he was having a party there and his wife was standing at the top of the stairs by herself when no one was upstairs and she started yelling and all the sudden she was pushed down. There also is to be told that there is an angry man that haunts the deck in the front.

I stayed at the Seelbach Hilton in room 1100. I walked off the elevator and it felt really stuffy in the room. As if you couldn't breathe. I was looking around in the Ballroom for anything I could see or hear but I was so creeped out by getting
cold chills I wanted to leave the ballroom and go to my room which was on the same floor. the 10th floor. I called down and asked the girl at the desk if the hotel was haunted and she said yes. The 9 and 10th floor was the most haunted. A ceiling vent came unscrewed and was hanging down while I was left in the room by myself. The shower kept shutting off on me. The cable stayed fuzzy the whole morning. All of this is the god's honest truth. I think that anyone that wants to feel something strange. They should go stay on the 10th floor. I also heard later that Al Capone's room was the most haunted room in the hotel....

I quickly flipped on the light and there was nothing there. So I turnned my light back off. I could here heavy breathing that sounded like it was right next to my bed I look around but I don't see anything just as I'm starting to shut my eyes I see a tall dark figure dressed in all black. It was a man who looked to be in his 40's. He had a black hat on so I couldn't see his eyes. I closed my eyes and opend them and he was gone. now every now and then I will see him out of the corner of my eye. He never tries to talk to me or harm me. He's just there.

It is said that at Cetenary College there is a ghost named Tilly that haunts there. She was murdered by a man that worked at the college back when it was an all girl school. The school was burned down Halloween Night. She haunts the chapel in the school and the priest said that he heard the Organ playing and saw an apparation of a girl. She looked evil!! Doors open and close, cold spots were felt, foot steps were heard. Tapping on shoulders were felt and nothing was behind them. You feel a presence wherever you go.
