*Update*
December 2005
Good Evening Everyone,
After skywatching here & there since July 2003 I have captured another strange object on film. Sighting occurred yesterday Dec.1st from 5:30 p.m. - 7 p.m. I managed to filmed almost 50 minutes of it. Ever since I filmed what seemed to be a silver sphere with an offset of black / dense portholes marked across it - I had always made it a habit to keep my camera near by.
It was late afternoon and I was in my back yard doing some yard cleaning. Started a fire to burn some debris and happen to look up towards the same direction I filmed the strange object back in 2003. I saw what I thought was a bright star. Getting near dark I didn't! 't think nothing of it at first.
Ten minutes later or so, I noticed the ' bright star ' was now obstructed and partially out of view by the tree branches that extended up & over my rooftop. I turned and dropped a few more small pieces of wood in the fire - looked up and the ' bright star ' was now back out in the clearing - being the first location I had seen it.
Without second thought I went for my camera - flipping it open I zoomed on the object and sure enough - it was no star. This time I made I kept my camera on manual focus. And taking a chance I ran in and got my tripod.
When I came back outside, to my surprise it was still there in the same area. The skies were clear & chilly, and it was a brilliant array of colors that beaded from this object.
On the evening of Dec.2nd - the same or similar object appeared pretty close to the same location the other object appeared Dec.1st.
Here are the links to 3 brief clips to give you an idea of what I saw.
Also attached is my report on planetary / star charts to out rule those possibilities - which shows it was not a star or a planet. And still shots from each clip. ( Below ). And I filmed the object dissolving & reappearing , changing form, color & and at time it appeared to stretch almost dividing into two but remained as one object ... it was wild!!!!
I am currently working on an update for my site - I most certainly welcome any & all thoughts on this.
Kindest Reguards,
Linda Moore
