Ghost's & Demons: A pet's warning;

This story has a little bit of everything. It all started when my ex and I decided to go to the beach with some friends of ours. When we reached the beach, my ex, son, and our friends all went into the water. I stayed preparing the picnic area. A little dog, [chihuahua], appeared. I thought it looked cute-looked around, but saw no one else on the beach. We decided that if it was still there by the time we would leave-and no one claimed it by then, that we would take it home with us. We named her Tasha. Tasha was everything you could ever want in a dog. She did all sorts of tricks and was so well trained.

After a few weeks being home, she started to bark every night at what seemed like nothing. We would go outside to find her growling and snarling at thin air.

One night, as my ex was preparing to take out the trash, she was at it again. I told my ex to check and see if she was truly barking at something this time. I went to bed, and he was out the door ready to dispose of the trash. When he got outside, he found her at the top of the stairs, barking at something at the bottom of them. He went to see what she was barking at, and saw a mist of white start to form. It took the shape of a woman, and she seemed to try to tell him something, she moved her mouth-but nothing came out. As soon as she did this she dissapeared. Spooked, my ex decided the trash wasn't worth all this, and retraced his steps to head back into the house. Just then, Tasha jumped ahead of him, and started to bark in the direction he was headed in. He looked at where she was barking at once again, and saw a gargoyle-type creature squating, red eyes glaring right at him! Enough was enough, and he dropped the trash, and ran right into the house to get me. He told me what  happened, and I ran outside to see if I might see something too. Just then, as I stepped out the door, Tasha stopped her barking, and wagged her tail at me. Everything was quiet at night after that, and a few weeks after-Tasha dissapeared. I believe she was there to watch over us-and had done her job.  The woman who appeared to my hubby? I believe that was my mom, who's with us and protects us, but that's another story I'll write another time.
