California:
1. Roosevelt
Hotel;
Claimed to be haunted by Marilyn Monroe and
Montgomery Cliff. Marilyn has been seen in a mirror in the lobby, and Mongomery
has been heard playing a trumpet.
2. The Knickerbocker
Hotel:
Many appiritions have been sighted here.
Ceiling fans have been flung across the room by an invisible force, and the
ghost of a man wearing 40's atire has been seen to mention a few of
them.
3. Hollywood Forever
Cementery:
Is reputed to be haunted with more
ghosts than any other spot in Hollywood.

Gettysburg:
Stories of ghost sightings, strange sounds,
and smells have become common-place for Gettysburg
visitors.
4. Point Lookout
Lighthouse:
Stands on an open promontory on the western
shore of the Chesapeake Bay. Mant instances of paranormal phenomena have been
reported at this desolent place- events that may reflect the areas
past.
During the Civil War, 50,000 Confederate
Soldiers where captured at Gettysburg and held here. Made to endure the cold,
starvation, and disease, thousands died and where buried in mass
graves.
The whole area is claimed to be full of
activity. Appiritions in uniform have been spotted on many
occasions.
E.V.P. has been recorded at the lighthouse
and the basement seems to be the focus of much
activity.
5. Farnsworth House B &
B:
Reputed to be very haunted by many
different ghosts. Many guests have awoken to see a female ghost standing beside
their bed. The ghosts of soldiers are seen and heard, even the ghosts of
children.
6. Cashtown Inn:
Reputed to be haunted also by the ghosts of
soldiers.
Guests hear knocking at their doors,
footsteps, and have seen in the basement the ghosts of three soldiers huddled in
a corner pleading for help.
7. General Lee's
Motel:
Guest have heard cannon fire, voices,
bagpipes, orders being shouted, and men screaming outside it's walls, to look
and see/find nothing there.

8. La Fetites- Blacksmiths Shop
{Bar}
Haunted by the ghost of it's original
owner. Pirate in life, it's believed his spirit cannot rest until his buried
treasure is found.

haunted by many ghosts- good and bad.

Alley:
Claimed to be haunted by the pirates that
did business there.

Pub:
Haunted by the ghosts of a man and woman,
who had an affair in life - he killed her when she threatened to tell his wife
about the affair- and then he hung himself.

Laveau:
Queen of Voodoo. Mark an "X" or her grave
and leave a gift, make a wish- and it supposedly comes
true.

You not only can visit and see the areas of where the crimes there
where comitted, but also sleep in the room where the grizzly hachet murders
occured. Claimed to be haunted by Lizzie herself. Guests have claimed to see
objects "fly" and beds levitate.

15. Hotel Del Coronado:
Haunted by the ghost of a woman who
suicided there. Seen in an Victorian era dress, quiet and very beautiful.
Reputed to haunt the room 3327, where she'd spent her last 5 days before her
death.
16.Queen Mary Ocean Liner
Hotel:
Long Beach
California;
Reputed to be very haunted and by various
ghosts in many different areas of the ship. Believed to contain a vortex where
ghost enter and depart from.

Stanley Hotel:
Where Stephen King wrote portions of his
novel "The Shining." Reputed to be haunted by the original owners. Staff claim
the ghosts will play tricks on you to gain your attention. Appiritions have been
sighted, lights turn on and off, and the piano plays by invisible hands to name
a few.
18. Saint Frances,
Louisiana:
Myrtles
Plantation;
Ranked as the 13th most spooky place in the
country. House and parking lot built on an old Indian Burial ground. An
appirition of a woman wearing a turban, and the mother and two children -whom
she murdered, are claimed to roam there. Even pictures have been taken where the
ghosts have appeared.

Coastline:
Bodega Bay; Area of supernatural
activity.
A vortex is believed to be here, a strange
energy flow that effects the environment and people.
20. Potter School House: Bodega
Bay;
Reputed to be very haunted by many ghosts.
Owner has seen the ghost of a little girl, heard footsteps going up and down the
stairs, lights move, a rocking chair that "rocks by itself", doors that open and
close by themselves, a face that appeared on a chalkboard, and when wiped clean,
only appeared again, and someone banging at the front door. An image was even
caught on film by an investigative team there.
