"Ghosts are people, too," " Perhaps very unhappy really dead people, or just dead people with unfinished business, but people nonetheless," " That is the attitude That I have always stood by and maintained, and will until I become a ghost myself." Said, Gina Lanier Paranormal/Ghost Hunter. "I have investigated many Haunted Cases," " Houses, Cemeteries, Churches, Hotels, and Haunted Furniture with my ghost-detecting equipment." And, yes, when the subject of ghosts comes Gina still remains skeptical.

 

 At this time we caught up with her as she is on one of her many investigations, that of spooking out a Haunted Mardi Gras Parades' uptown New Orleans Krewe Den.   

 

"There's is a strong bias against ghosts hunters in this world, and against the people who purport to so witness ghost haunting, in our everyday society," said Gina, "most people are very leery and hesitant to talk about their sighting a ghost or haunting. People who do talk about ghosts have their honesty and sanity openly questioned and credibility marred."

    Maybe you have heard weird noises in the dead of night, or had an experience you can't just quite explain. Investigative ghost hunters equipment now a days consist of electrical, optical, thermal and magnetic sensors.  Getting into the specifics of such research, Paranormal Investigator Gina Lanier said that she had deeply set out five years to investigate the "orb" phenomena seen in any ghost photographs that she has in her vast collection, and she states that it is sometimes possible to see the floating globes (Orbs) with the naked eye, using flash or strobes. Gina has over the years often postulated they may be related to what the Hindus referred to as an "astral form."

 

At this New Orleans Particular den, ( Where Parade floats are stored year round until their next Mardi Gras incarnation) Spirit forms noises and unexplainable chills, cold spots and haunted activity occurs day and night. The building was formally a Police station/Jail in the late 1800s. 

 

In thousands of these haunted cases, Gina has found measurable physical anomalies when haunted activity is so said to be present. Although many who have worked here claim to have witnessed ghosts phenomena, reporting anomalous changes in temperature (cold spots, and described a strange chill on their skin).  Other local Paranormal Investigators have noted that unusual magnetic fields, strong voltages occur often in these haunted locations. "Many Haunted States in the nation do have different levels of electrical energy present." Said Gina. "Temperature humidity or geographical location plays an important part in all haunting. I have so often noted that orbs have been photographed at the same time that magnetic and electrical  Disturbances are measured." " I have many ghost Mardi Gras photo anomalies that in no way cannot be explained by conventional science." Said Gina.

 

"Most of the haunted people that I investigate for do have a set image in their minds of what a ghost is supposed to be," said Gina. "Ghosts of haunting do come from every walk of life." 
 I find that different haunted locations, different haunted States I would think that others expect to run into ghosts at places associated with death and mental anguish, but I have so discovered that even new houses can be haunted. I believe that you should respect a ghosts like you would real person. "You don't need to be afraid," said Gina. "They're just like us, I mean you or me, but they have no physical bodies." I always realize that I have found that many specters are afraid also. And of course that is why I have a great sympathy for the reasons behind their haunted presence. "Sometimes many ghost that I encounter don't realize they're dead, or there's a denial of their death," said Gina.

"I find that if a place is really haunted then you certainly have no need to do your ghost hunt at night." " If a place has ghosts, or is truly haunted by any force or specter, it has them night and day." " ... In truth many ghost for some reason do run on a schedule or reenactment." I liken it to playing a video tape, looping over and over again."

 

The Haunted Parade Mardi Gras Den is located two blocks from the Mississippi River. And Gina thinks that is part of the paranormal phenomena's occurrences. Time of day, specific location, and it's haunted history all take or play a major part in paranormal phenomena.

 

Many of my fellow Ghost hunters believe ghosts reflect light, showing up as gaseous clouds or orbs of condensed energy in photographs. I do not, I believe this is energy appearing as matter on film or digitally. I have found that I talk to the specific ghosts That I investigate, using my digital tape recorder. I very often ask what it's like where they are, what they remember from their life. "Simple things just like that," said Gina. "I think you should just strike up a normal conversation, as you would with a living person." " Just in life as in death some people answer back others don't."

As for myself and many other Ghost Investigatyors/Hunters that often rely on electronic voice phenomena (EVP) to hear ghosts. I believe that digital tape recorders should be used. One can record ghostly voices and transfer them to their computers to analyze them much easier. Haunted sounds that are inaudible to the human ear often are easier to discern if you can see them on a graph then dig deeper to clear up any noise or static. These haunted ghost voices can be heard by listening to the tape also. I have heard them through my earphones and have been quite startled. Many ghostly voices are actually clear, very audible, more often they are soft lost echoes of haunted whispers, that need to be listened to over and over before you understand their messages. 

"I always it seems am not quite prepared to hear these strange voices or statements."  "I find that the ghost haunting the area, often might say something totally unexpected." "I personally have record a lot of children's voices," said Gina. "And that's something that really alarms me and certainly bothers me to distraction."

"I think often that ghosts are not actually out to frighten you." " Ghost, I believe do have the exact same personality they had in their life," said Gina. "If they were horrible people in life, they're going to stay that way on the other side." "Many people you meet in life are often very nice." "To the majority of ghosts you run into are nice ghost." "There might be a ghostly pranksters in the bunch you run across but that's about it."
